Matthew 12:1-8

  2 G1161 But G5330 when the Pharisees G1492 saw [G5631]   G2036 it, they said [G5627]   G846 unto him G2400 , Behold [G5628]   G4675 , thy G3101 disciples G4160 do [G5719]   G3739 that which G1832 is G3756 not G1832 lawful [G5748]   G4160 to do [G5721]   G1722 upon G4521 the sabbath day.

  3 G1161 But G2036 he said [G5627]   G846 unto them G314 , Have ye G3756 not G314 read [G5627]   G5101 what G1138 David G4160 did [G5656]   G3753 , when G846 he G3983 was an hungred [G5656]   G2532 , and G3326 they G846 that were with him;

  5 G2228 Or G314 have ye G3756 not G314 read [G5627]   G1722 in G3551 the law G3754 , how that G4521 on the sabbath days G2409 the priests G1722 in G2411 the temple G953 profane [G5719]   G4521 the sabbath G2532 , and G1526 are [G5748]   G338 blameless?

  6 G1161 But G3004 I say [G5719]   G5213 unto you G3754 , That G5602 in this place G2076 is one [G5748]   G3187 greater than G2411 the temple.

  7 G1161 But G1487 if G1097 ye had known [G5715]   G5101 what G2076 this meaneth [G5748]   G2309 , I will have [G5719]   G1656 mercy G2532 , and G3756 not G2378 sacrifice G302 , ye would G3756 not G2613 have condemned [G5656]   G338 the guiltless.

  8 G1063 For G5207 the Son G444 of man G2076 is [G5748]   G2962 Lord G2532 even G4521 of the sabbath day.
