2 Samuel 7:8-16 Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David , Thus saith the LORD of hosts , I took thee from the sheepcote , from following the sheep , to be ruler over my people , over Israel:

10 H7760 Moreover I will appoint [H8804] H4725 a place H5971 for my people H3478 Israel H5193 , and will plant [H8804] H7931 them, that they may dwell [H8804] H7264 in a place of their own, and move [H8799] H1121 no more; neither shall the children H5766 of wickedness H6031 afflict [H8763] H3254 them any more [H8686] H7223 , as beforetime,

11 H3117 And as since the time H6680 that I commanded [H8765] H8199 judges [H8802] H5971 to be over my people H3478 Israel H5117 , and have caused thee to rest [H8689] H341 from all thine enemies [H8802] H3068 . Also the LORD H5046 telleth [H8689] H6213 thee that he will make [H8799] H1004 thee an house.

12 H3117 And when thy days H4390 be fulfilled [H8799] H7901 , and thou shalt sleep [H8804] H1 with thy fathers H6965 , I will set up [H8689] H2233 thy seed H310 after H3318 thee, which shall proceed [H8799] H4578 out of thy bowels H3559 , and I will establish [H8689] H4467 his kingdom.

13 H1129 He shall build [H8799] H1004 an house H8034 for my name H3559 , and I will stablish [H8790] H3678 the throne H4467 of his kingdom H5704 for H5769 ever.

14 H1 I will be his father H1121 , and he shall be my son H5753 . If he commit iniquity [H8687] H3198 , I will chasten [H8689] H7626 him with the rod H582 of men H5061 , and with the stripes H1121 of the children H120 of men:

15 H2617 But my mercy H5493 shall not depart away [H8799] H5493 from him, as I took [H8689] H7586 it from Saul H5493 , whom I put away [H8689] H6440 before thee.

16 H1004 And thine house H4467 and thy kingdom H539 shall be established [H8738] H5704 for H5769 ever H6440 before H3678 thee: thy throne H3559 shall be established [H8737] H5704 for H5769 ever.
