Revelation 12 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven ; a woman clothed with the sun , and the moon under her feet , and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 G2532 And G2192 she being [G5723] G1722 with G1064 child G2896 cried [G5719] G5605 , travailing in birth [G5723] G2532 , and G928 pained [G5746] G5088 to be delivered [G5629] .

3 G2532 And G3700 there appeared [G5681] G243 another G4592 wonder G1722 in G3772 heaven G2532 ; and G2400 behold [G5628] G3173 a great G4450 red G1404 dragon G2192 , having [G5723] G2033 seven G2776 heads G2532 and G1176 ten G2768 horns G2532 , and G2033 seven G1238 crowns G1909 upon G846 his G2776 heads.

6 G2532 And G1135 the woman G5343 fled [G5627] G1519 into G2048 the wilderness G3699 , where G2192 she hath [G5719] G5117 a place G2090 prepared [G5772] G575 of G2316 God G2443 , that G5142 they should feed [G5725] G846 her G1563 there G5507 a thousand G1250 two hundred G1835 and threescore G2250 days.

7 G2532 And G1096 there was [G5633] G4171 war G1722 in G3772 heaven G3413 : Michael G2532 and G846 his G32 angels G4170 fought [G5656] G2596 against G1404 the dragon G2532 ; and G1404 the dragon G4170 fought [G5656] G2532 and G846 his G32 angels,

8 G2532 And G2480 prevailed [G5656] G3756 not G3777 ; neither G2147 was G846 their G5117 place G2147 found [G5681] G2089 any more G1722 in G3772 heaven.

9 G2532 And G3173 the great G1404 dragon G906 was cast out [G5681] G744 , that old G3789 serpent G2564 , called [G5746] G1228 the Devil G2532 , and G4567 Satan G3588 , which G4105 deceiveth [G5723] G3650 the whole G3625 world G906 : he was cast out [G5681] G1519 into G1093 the earth G2532 , and G846 his G32 angels G906 were cast out [G5681] G3326 with G846 him.

Woe for the earth and for the sea: because the devil is gone down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time. ¹³ And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man [child]. ¹⁴ And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. ¹⁵ And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman water as a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream. ¹⁶ And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth. ¹⁷ And the dragon waxed wroth with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and hold the testimony of Jesus:
