KJV_Strongs(i)
H3290 And Jacob H2734 was wroth [H8799]   H7378 , and chode [H8799]   H3837 with Laban H3290 : and Jacob H6030 answered [H8799]   H559 and said [H8799]   H3837 to Laban H6588 , What is my trespass H2403 ? what is my sin H1814 , that thou hast so hotly pursued [H8804]   H310 after me?
H3588 Whereas H4959 thou hast searched [H8765]   H3627 all my stuff H4672 , what hast thou found [H8804]   H1004 of all thy household H3627 stuff H7760 ? set [H8798]   H3541 it here H251 before my brethren H251 and thy brethren H3198 , that they may judge [H8686]   H996 betwixt H8147 us both.
H6242 This twenty H8141 years H7353 have I been with thee; thy ewes H5795 and thy she goats H7921 have not cast their young [H8765]   H352 , and the rams H6629 of thy flock H398 have I not eaten [H8804]  .
H2966 That which was torn H935 of beasts I brought [H8689]   H2398 not unto thee; I bare the loss [H8762]   H3027 of it; of my hand H1245 didst thou require [H8762]   H1589 it, whether stolen [H8803]   H3117 by day H1589 , or stolen [H8803]   H3915 by night.
H3117 Thus I was; in the day H2721 the drought H398 consumed [H8804]   H7140 me, and the frost H3915 by night H8142 ; and my sleep H5074 departed [H8799]   H5869 from mine eyes.
H6242 Thus have I been twenty H8141 years H1004 in thy house H5647 ; I served thee [H8804]   H702 fourteen H6240   H8141 years H8147 for thy two H1323 daughters H8337 , and six H8141 years H6629 for thy cattle H2498 : and thou hast changed [H8686]   H4909 my wages H6235 ten H4489 times.
H3884 Except H430 the God H1 of my father H430 , the God H85 of Abraham H6343 , and the fear H3327 of Isaac H7971 , had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away [H8765]   H7387 now empty H430 . God H7200 hath seen [H8804]   H6040 mine affliction H3018 and the labour H3709 of my hands H3198 , and rebuked [H8686]   H570 thee yesternight.
H3837 And Laban H6030 answered [H8799]   H559 and said [H8799]   H3290 unto Jacob H1323 , These daughters H1323 are my daughters H1121 , and these children H1121 are my children H6629 , and these cattle H6629 are my cattle H7200 , and all that thou seest [H8802]   H6213 is mine: and what can I do [H8799]   H3117 this day H1323 unto these my daughters H176 , or H1121 unto their children H3205 which they have born [H8804]  ?
H3212 Now therefore come thou [H8798]   H3772 , let us make [H8799]   H1285 a covenant H5707 , I and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee.
H3290 And Jacob H3947 took [H8799]   H68 a stone H7311 , and set it up [H8686]   H4676 for a pillar.
H3290 And Jacob H559 said [H8799]   H251 unto his brethren H3950 , Gather [H8798]   H68 stones H3947 ; and they took [H8799]   H68 stones H6213 , and made [H8799]   H1530 an heap H398 : and they did eat [H8799]   H1530 there upon the heap.
H3837 And Laban H7121 called [H8799]   H3026 it Jegarsahadutha H3290 : but Jacob H7121 called [H8804]   H1567 it Galeed.
H3837 And Laban H559 said [H8799]   H1530 , This heap H5707 is a witness H3117 between me and thee this day H8034 . Therefore was the name H7121 of it called [H8804]   H1567 Galeed;
H4709 And Mizpah H834 ; for H559 he said [H8804]   H3068 , The LORD H6822 watch [H8799]   H5641 between me and thee, when we are absent [H8735]   H376 one H7453 from another.
H6031 If thou shalt afflict [H8762]   H1323 my daughters H3947 , or if thou shalt take [H8799]   H802 other wives H5921 beside H1323 my daughters H376 , no man H7200 is with us; see [H8798]   H430 , God H5707 is witness betwixt me and thee.
H3837 And Laban H559 said [H8799]   H3290 to Jacob H1530 , Behold this heap H4676 , and behold this pillar H3384 , which I have cast [H8804]   betwixt me and thee;
H1530 This heap H5707 be witness H4676 , and this pillar H5713 be witness H5674 , that I will not pass over [H8799]   H1530 this heap H5674 to thee, and that thou shalt not pass over [H8799]   H1530 this heap H4676 and this pillar H7451 unto me, for harm.
H430 The God H85 of Abraham H430 , and the God H5152 of Nahor H430 , the God H1 of their father H8199 , judge [H8799]   H3290 betwixt us. And Jacob H7650 sware [H8735]   H6343 by the fear H1 of his father H3327 Isaac.
H3290 Then Jacob H2076 offered [H8799]   H2077 sacrifice H2022 upon the mount H7121 , and called [H8799]   H251 his brethren H398 to eat [H8800]   H3899 bread H398 : and they did eat [H8799]   H3899 bread H3885 , and tarried all night [H8799]   H2022 in the mount.
H7925 And early H1242 in the morning H3837 Laban H7925 rose up [H8686]   H5401 , and kissed [H8762]   H1121 his sons H1323 and his daughters H1288 , and blessed [H8762]   H3837 them: and Laban H3212 departed [H8799]   H7725 , and returned [H8799]   H4725 unto his place.
ERV(i) 36 And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is my trespass? what is my sin, that thou hast hotly pursued after me? 37 Whereas thou hast felt about all my stuff, what hast thou found of all thy household stuff? Set it here before my brethren and thy brethren, that they may judge betwixt us two. 38 This twenty years have I been with thee; thy ewes and thy she-goats have not cast their young, and the rams of thy flocks have I not eaten. 39 That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand didst thou require it, whether stolen by day or stolen by night. 40 Thus I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep fled from mine eyes. 41 These twenty years have I been in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy flock: and thou hast changed my wages ten times. 42 Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the Fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now hadst thou sent me away empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight. 43 And Laban answered and said unto Jacob, The daughters are my daughters, and the children are my children, and the flocks are my flocks, and all that thou seest is mine: and what can I do this day unto these my daughters, or unto their children which they have borne? 44 And now come, let us make a covenant, I and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee. 45 And Jacob took a stone, and set it up for a pillar. 46 And Jacob said unto his brethren, Gather stones; and they took stones, and made an heap: and they did eat there by the heap. 47 And Laban called it Jegar-sahadutha: but Jacob called it Galeed. 48 And Laban said, This heap is witness between me and thee this day. Therefore was the name of it called Galeed: 49 and Mizpah, for he said, The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another. 50 If thou shalt afflict my daughters, and if thou shalt take wives beside my daughters, no man is with us; see, God is witness betwixt me and thee. 51 And Laban said to Jacob, Behold this heap, and behold the pillar, which I have set betwixt me and thee. 52 This heap be witness, and the pillar be witness, that I will not pass over this heap to thee, and that thou shalt not pass over this heap and this pillar unto me, for harm. 53 The God of Abraham, and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge betwixt us. And Jacob sware by the Fear of his father Isaac. 54 And Jacob offered a sacrifice in the mountain, and called his brethren to eat bread: and they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mountain. 55 And early in the morning Laban rose up, and kissed his sons and his daughters, and blessed them: and Laban departed, and returned unto his place.
