Deuteronomy 24:10-18 When you do lend your brother any thing, you shall not go into his house to fetch his pledge.

11 H5975 You shall stand H2351 abroad, H376 and the man H5383 to whom you do lend H3318 shall bring out H5667 the pledge H2351 abroad unto you.

12 H376 And if the man H6041 be poor, H7901 you shall not sleep H5667 with his pledge:

13 H7725 In any case H7725 you shall deliver H5667 him the pledge H7725 again H8121 when the sun H935 goes down, H7901 that he may sleep H8008 in his own clothes, H1288 and bless H6666 you: and it shall be righteousness H6440 unto you before H3068 the Lord H430 your God.

14 H6231 You shall not oppress H7916 a hired servant H6041 that is poor H34 and needy, H251 whether he be of your brothers, H1616 or of your strangers H776 that are in your land H8179 inside your gates:

15 H3117 At his day H5414 you shall give H7939 him his hire, H8121 neither shall the sun H935 go down H6041 upon it; for he is poor, H5375 and sets H5315 his heart H7121 upon it: lest he cry H3068 against you unto the Lord, H2399 and it be sin unto you.

16 H1 The fathers H4191 shall not be put to death H1121 for the sons, H1121 neither shall the sons H4191 be put to death H1 for the fathers: H376 every man H4191 shall be put to death H2399 for his own sin.

17 H5186 You shall not pervert H4941 the judgment H1616 of the stranger, H3490 nor of the fatherless; H2254 nor take H490 a widow's H899 clothes H2254 to pledge:

18 H2142 But you shall remember H5650 that you were a bondman H4714 in Egypt, H3068 and the Lord H430 your God H6299 redeemed H6680 you there: therefore I command H6213 you to do H1697 this thing.
