Deuteronomy 24

  1 H376 When a man H3947 has taken H802 a wife, H1166 and married H4672 her, and it come to pass that she find H2580 no favor H5869 in his eyes, H4672 because he has found H1697 some H6172 uncleanness H3789 in her: then let him write H5612 her a bill H3748 of divorce, H5414 and give H3027 it in her hand, H7971 and send H1004 her out of his house.
  2 H3318 And when she is departed out H1004 of his house, H1980 she may go H312 and be another H376 man's wife.
  3 H314 And if the latter H376 husband H8130 hate H3789 her, and write H5612 her a bill H3748 of divorce, H5414 and gives H3027 it in her hand, H7971 and sends H1004 her out of his house; H314 or if the latter H376 husband H4191 die, H3947 which took H802 her to be his wife;
  4 H7223 Her former H1167 husband, H7971 which sent her away, H3201 may H3947 not take H7725 her again H802 to be his wife, H310 after H2930 that she is defiled; H8441 for that is abomination H6440 before H3068 the Lord: H776 and you shall not cause the land H2398 to sin, H3068 which the Lord H430 your God H5414 gives H5159 you for an inheritance.
  5 H376 When a man H3947 has taken H2319 a new H802 wife, H3318 he shall not go out H6635 to war, H5674 neither shall he be commanded H1697 with any business: H5355 but he shall be free H1004 at home H259 one H8141 year, H8055 and shall cheer up H802 his wife H3947 which he has taken.
  6 H2254 No man shall take H7347 the mill H7393 or the upper millstone H2254 to pledge: H2254 for he takes H5315 a man's life H2254 to pledge.
  7 H376 If a man H4672 be found H1589 stealing H5315 any H251 of his brothers H1121 of the sons H3478 of Israel, H6014 and makes merchandise H4376 of him, or sells H1590 him; then that thief H4191 shall die; H1197 and you shall put H7451 evil H1197 away H7130 from among you.
  8 H8104 Take care H5061 in the plague H6883 of leprosy, H8104 that you observe H3966 diligently, H6213 and do H3548 according to all that the priests H3881 the Levites H3384 shall teach H6680 you: as I commanded H8104 them, so you shall observe H6213 to do.

  15 H3117 At his day H5414 you shall give H7939 him his hire, H8121 neither shall the sun H935 go down H6041 upon it; for he is poor, H5375 and sets H5315 his heart H7121 upon it: lest he cry H3068 against you unto the Lord, H2399 and it be sin unto you.
  16 H1 The fathers H4191 shall not be put to death H1121 for the sons, H1121 neither shall the sons H4191 be put to death H1 for the fathers: H376 every man H4191 shall be put to death H2399 for his own sin.
  17 H5186 You shall not pervert H4941 the judgment H1616 of the stranger, H3490 nor of the fatherless; H2254 nor take H490 a widow's H899 clothes H2254 to pledge:
  18 H2142 But you shall remember H5650 that you were a bondman H4714 in Egypt, H3068 and the Lord H430 your God H6299 redeemed H6680 you there: therefore I command H6213 you to do H1697 this thing.
  19 H7114 When you cut down H7105 your harvest H7704 in your field, H7911 and have forgot H6016 a sheaf H7704 in the field, H7725 you shall not go again H3947 to fetch H1616 it: it shall be for the stranger, H3490 for the fatherless, H490 and for the widow: H3068 that the Lord H430 your God H1288 may bless H4639 you in all the work H3027 of your hands.
  20 H2251 When you beat H2132 your olive tree, H6286 you shall not go over the boughs H310 again: H1616 it shall be for the stranger, H3490 for the fatherless, H490 and for the widow.
  21 H1219 When you gather H3754 the grapes of your vineyard, H5953 you shall not glean H310 it afterward: H1616 it shall be for the stranger, H3490 for the fatherless, H490 and for the widow.
  22 H2142 And you shall remember H5650 that you were a bondman H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt: H6680 therefore I command H6213 you to do H1697 this thing.
