1 Chronicles 15:1-17

  1 H6213 And David made H1004 him houses H5892 in the city H1732 of David, H3559 and prepared H4725 a place H727 for the ark H430 of God, H5186 and pitched H168 for it a tent.
  2 H1732 Then David H559 said, H5375 None should carry H727 the ark H430 of God H3881 but the Levites: H3068 for them has the Lord H977 chosen H5375 to carry H727 the ark H430 of God, H8334 and to minister H5704 unto him for H5769 ever.
  3 H1732 And David H6950 gathered H3478 all Israel H6950 together H3389 to Jerusalem, H5927 to bring up H727 the ark H3068 of the Lord H4725 unto his place, H3559 which he had prepared for it.
  4 H1732 And David H622 assembled H1121 the sons H175 of Aaron, H3881 and the Levites:

  12 H559 And said H7218 unto them, You are the chief H1 of the fathers H3881 of the Levites: H6942 sanctify H251 yourselves, both you and your brothers, H5927 that you may bring up H727 the ark H3068 of the Lord H430 God H3478 of Israel H3559 unto the place that I have prepared for it.
  13 H7223 For because you did it not at the first, H3068 the Lord H430 our God H6555 made a breach H1875 upon us, for that we sought H4941 him not after the due order.
  14 H3548 So the priests H3881 and the Levites H6942 sanctified H5927 themselves to bring up H727 the ark H3068 of the Lord H430 God H3478 of Israel.
  15 H1121 And the sons H3881 of the Levites H5375 bore H727 the ark H430 of God H3802 upon their shoulders H4133 with the poles H4872 on it, as Moses H6680 commanded H1697 according to the word H3068 of the Lord.
  16 H1732 And David H559 spoke H8269 to the chief H3881 of the Levites H5975 to appoint H251 their brothers H7891 to be the singers H3627 with instruments H7892 of music, H5035 psalteries H3658 and harps H4700 and cymbals, H8085 sounding, H7311 by lifting up H6963 the voice H8057 with joy.
  17 H3881 So the Levites H5975 appointed H1968 Heman H1121 the son H3100 of Joel; H251 and of his brothers, H623 Asaph H1121 the son H1296 of Berechiah; H1121 and of the sons H4847 of Merari H251 their brothers, H387 Ethan H1121 the son H6984 of Kushaiah;
