Esther 9:2-16 the Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them was fallen upon all the peoples.

2 H3064 the Jews H6950 gathered themselves together H5892 in their cities H4082 throughout all the provinces H4428 of the king H325 Ahasuerus, H7971 to lay H3027 hand H1245 on such as sought H7451 their hurt: H376 and no man H5975 could withstand H6440 them; H6343 for the fear H5307 of them was fallen H5971 upon all the peoples.

3 H8269 And all the princes H4082 of the provinces, H323 and the satraps, H6346 and the governors, H6213 and they H4428 that did the king's H5375 business, helped H3064 the Jews; H6343 because the fear H4782 of Mordecai H5307 was fallen upon them.

4 H4782 For Mordecai H1419 was great H4428 in the king's H1004 house, H8089 and his fame H1980 went forth H4082 throughout all the provinces; H376 for the man H4782 Mordecai H1980 waxed H1419 greater and greater.

5 H3064 And the Jews H5221 smote H341 all their enemies H4347 with the stroke H2719 of the sword, H2027 and with slaughter H12 and destruction, H6213 and did H7522 what they would H8130 unto them that hated them.

6 H7800 And in Shushan H1002 the palace H3064 the Jews H2026 slew H6 and destroyed H2568 five H3967 hundred H376 men.

7 H6577 And Parshandatha, H1813 and Dalphon, H630 and Aspatha,

8 H6334 and Poratha, H118 and Adalia, H743 and Aridatha,

9 H6534 and Parmashta, H747 and Arisai, H742 and Aridai, H2055 and Vaizatha,

10 H6235 the ten H1121 sons H2001 of Haman H1121 the son H4099 of Hammedatha, H3064 the Jew's H6887 enemy, H2026 slew H961 they; but on the spoil H7971 they laid H3027 not their hand.

11 H3117 On that day H4557 the number H2026 of those that were slain H7800 in Shushan H1002 the palace H935 was brought H6440 before H4428 the king.

12 H4428 And the king H559 said H635 unto Esther H4436 the queen, H3064 The Jews H2026 have slain H6 and destroyed H2568 five H3967 hundred H376 men H7800 in Shushan H1002 the palace, H6235 and the ten H1121 sons H2001 of Haman; H6213 what then have they done H7605 in the rest H4428 of the king's H4082 provinces! H7596 Now what is thy petition? H5414 and it shall be granted H1246 thee: or what is thy request H5750 further? H6213 and it shall be done.

13 H559 Then said H635 Esther, H2896 If it please H4428 the king, H5414 let it be granted H3064 to the Jews H7800 that are in Shushan H6213 to do H4279 to-morrow H3117 also according unto this day's H1881 decree, H2001 and let Haman's H6235 ten H1121 sons H8518 be hanged H6086 upon the gallows.

14 H4428 And the king H559 commanded H6213 it so to be done: H1881 and a decree H5414 was given H7800 out in Shushan; H8518 and they hanged H2001 Haman's H6235 ten H1121 sons.

15 H3064 And the Jews H7800 that were in Shushan H6950 gathered themselves together H702 on the fourteenth H3117 day H2320 also of the month H143 Adar, H2026 and slew H7969 three H3967 hundred H376 men H7800 in Shushan; H961 but on the spoil H7971 they laid H3027 not their hand.

16 H7605 And the other H3064 Jews H4428 that were in the king's H4082 provinces H6950 gathered themselves together, H5975 and stood H5315 for their lives, H5118 and had rest H341 from their enemies, H2026 and slew H8130 of them that hated H7657 them seventy H2568 and five H505 thousand; H961 but on the spoil H7971 they laid H3027 not their hand.
