Genesis 24:1-10 And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.

2 H85 And Abraham H559 said H2205 to his oldest H5650 servant H1004 of his house, H4910 that ruled H3605 over all H7760 that he had, Put, H4994 I pray H3027 you, your hand H8478 under H3409 my thigh:

3 H7650 And I will make you swear H3068 by the LORD, H430 the God H8064 of heaven, H430 and the God H776 of the earth, H3947 that you shall not take H802 a wife H1121 to my son H1323 of the daughters H3669 of the Canaanites, H7130 among H834 whom H3427 I dwell:

4 H3212 But you shall go H776 to my country, H4138 and to my kindred, H3947 and take H802 a wife H1121 to my son H3327 Isaac.

5 H5650 And the servant H559 said H194 to him, Peradventure H802 the woman H14 will not be willing H3212 to follow H310 H2063 me to this H776 land: H7725 must I needs H7725 bring H1121 your son H7725 again H776 to the land H834 from from where H8033 H3318 you came?

6 H85 And Abraham H559 said H8104 to him, Beware H7725 you that you bring H1121 not my son H8033 thither H7725 again.

7 H3068 The LORD H430 God H8064 of heaven, H834 which H3947 took H1 me from my father’s H1004 house, H776 and from the land H4138 of my kindred, H834 and which H1696 spoke H7650 to me, and that swore H559 to me, saying, H2233 To your seed H5414 will I give H2063 this H776 land; H7971 he shall send H4397 his angel H6440 before H3947 you, and you shall take H802 a wife H1121 to my son H8033 from there.

8 H802 And if the woman H14 will not be willing H3212 to follow H310 H5352 you, then you shall be clear H7621 from this my oath: H7535 only H7725 bring H1121 not my son H7725 thither again.

9 H5650 And the servant H7760 put H3027 his hand H8478 under H3409 the thigh H85 of Abraham H113 his master, H7650 and swore H5921 to him concerning H1697 that matter.

10 H5650 And the servant H3947 took H6235 ten H1581 camels H1581 of the camels H113 of his master, H3212 and departed; H3605 for all H2898 the goods H113 of his master H3027 were in his hand: H6965 and he arose, H3212 and went H763 to Mesopotamia, H5892 to the city H5152 of Nahor.
