Joshua 22:21-31 And they answered (the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh,) and said to the commanders of thousands of Israel, saying,

22 G3588 God, G2316 G3588 the G2316 [³God G2962 ¹ lord G1510.2.3 ²is]. G2532 And G3588 G2316 God, G3588 G2316 the lord God G2962 G1473 himself G1492 knows, G2532 and G* Israel G1473 itself G1097 shall know; G1487 if G1722 [²by G646 ³defection G4131.2 ¹we trespassed] G1725 before G2962 the lord, G3361 may he not rescue G4506 G1473 us G1722 in G3588 G2250 this day. 23 G2532 And G1487 if G3618 we built G1438 [²for ourselves G1041 ¹a shrine], G5620 so as G868 to depart G575 from G2962 the lord, G2228 or G5620 so as G307 to haul G1909 up on G1473 it G2378 a sacrifice G3646 of whole burnt-offerings, G2228 or G5620 so as G4160 to make G1909 upon G1473 it G2378 a sacrifice G4992 of deliverance, G2962 the lord G1473 himself G1567 shall inquire.

24 G235 But G1752 [⁴because of G2124 ⁵veneration G4487 ³thing G4160 ¹we did G3778 ²this], G3004 saying G2443 that, G3361 Should G839 tomorrow G2036 [²say G3588 G5043 ¹your children] G1473 G3588 to G5043 our children, G1473 G3004 saying, G5100 What G1473 is it to you G2532 and G2962 to the lord G3588 G2316 God G* of Israel?

25 G2532 And G3725 [²a border G5087 ¹ the lord put] G2962 G303.1 between G1473 us G2532 and G1473 you, G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Reuben G2532 and G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Gad -- G3588 the G* Jordan; G2532 and G3756 there is no G1510.2.3 G1473 [²to you G3310 ¹portion] G2962 of the lord . G2532 And G526 [²shall separate G3588 G5207 ¹your sons] G1473 G3588 G5207 from our sons, G1473 G2443 that G3361 they should not G4576 worship G2962 the lord .

26 G2532 And G2036 we said G4160 to do G3779 thus, G3588 G3618 to build G3588 G1041 this shrine, G3778 G3756 not G1752 because of G2593.2 yield offerings, G3761 nor G1752 because of G2378 sacrifices,

27 G235 but G2443 that G1510.3 [²might be G3142 ¹this testimony] G3778 G303.1 between G1473 us G2532 and G303.1 between G1473 you, G2532 and G303.1 between G3588 G1074 our generations G1473 G3326 after G1473 us, G3588 G3000 to serve G3588 the G2999 service G2962 of the lord G1726 before G1473 him G1722 in G3588 G2593.2 our yield offerings, G1473 G2532 and G1722 in G3588 G2378 our sacrifices, G1473 G2532 and G1722 in G3588 the G2378 sacrifices G3588 G4992 of our deliverances; G1473 G2532 and so that G3756 [²shall not say G2046 G3588 G5043 ¹your children] G1473 G839 tomorrow G3588 to G5043 our children, G1473 G3756 There is no G1510.2.3 G1473 portion to you G3310 G2962 of the lord .

28 G2532 And G2036 we said, G1437 If G1096 it comes to pass G4218 at some time or other, G2532 and G2980 they shall speak G4314 to G1473 us G2228 or G3588 to G1074 our generations G1473 G839 tomorrow, G2532 then G2046 we shall say, G1492 Behold! G3667 it is a representation G3588 of the G2379 altar G2962 of the lord G3739 which G4160 [²made G3588 G3962 ¹our fathers]. G1473 G3756 It is not G1752 for G2593.2 yield offerings, G3761 nor G1752 for G2378 sacrifices, G235 but G3142 it is a testimony G1510.2.3 G303.1 between G1473 you, G2532 and G303.1 between G1473 us, G2532 and G303.1 between G3588 G5207 our sons. 30 G2532 And G191 [⁴heard G* ¹Phinehas G3588 ²the G2409 ³priest], G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the G758 rulers G3588 of the G4864 congregation, G2532 and G3588 the G5506 commanders G* of Israel, G3739 the ones who G1510.7.6 were G3326 with G1473 him, G3588 the G3056 words G3739 which G2980 they spoke, G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Reuben, G2532 and G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Gad, G2532 and G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Manasseh, G2532 and G700 it pleased G1473 them.
