2 Chronicles 17:1-9

  3 G2532 And G1096 the lord was G2962   G3326 with G* Jehoshaphat, G3754 for G4198 he went G1722 in G3598 [³ways G* ⁴of David G3588   G3962 ⁵his father G1473   G3588 ¹the G4413 ²first]; G2532 and G3756 he did not G1567 seek after G3588 the G1497 idols,

  4 G235 but G2962 [² the lord G3588   G2316 ³God G3588   G3962 ⁴of his father G1473   G1567 ¹he sought after], G2532 and G1722 by G3588   G1785 his commandments G1473   G4198 he went, G2532 and G3756 not G2596 according to G3588 the G2041 works G* of Israel.

  5 G2532 And G2720 the lord straightened G2962   G3588 the G932 kingdom G1722 in G5495 his hand; G1473   G2532 and G1325 [³gave G3956 ¹all G* ²Judah] G1435 gifts G3588 to G* Jehoshaphat, G2532 and G1096 there became G1473 to him G4149 [²riches G2532 ³and G1391 ⁴glory G4183 ¹much].

  6 G2532 And G5312 [²was raised up high G3588   G2588 ¹his heart] G1473   G1722 in G3598 the ways G2962 of the lord . G2532 And G2089 again G1808 he removed G3588 the G5308 high places G2532 and G3588 the G251.1 sacred groves G575 from G3588 the G1093 land G* of Judah.

  7 G2532 And G1722 in G3588 the G2094 [²year G3588   G5154 ¹third] G3588   G932 of his kingship, G1473   G649 he sent G3588   G2233 his leaders, G1473   G2532 and G3588 the G5207 sons G3588 of the G1415 mighty ones -- G3588   G* Obadiah, G2532 and G3588   G* Zechariah, G2532 and G3588   G* Nethaneel, G2532 and G3588   G* Michaiah G3588   G1321 to teach G1722 in G4172 the cities G* of Judah.

  8 G2532 And G3326 with G1473 them G3588 the G* Levites -- G* Shemaiah, G2532 and G* Nethaniah, G2532 and G* Zebadiah, G2532 and G* Asahel, G2532 and G* Shemiramoth, G2532 and G* Jehonathan, G2532 and G* Adonijah, G2532 and G* Tobijah, G2532 and G* Tob-adonijah G3588 the G* Levites; G2532 and G3326 with G1473 them G* Elishama G2532 and G* Jehoram, G3588 the G2409 priests.

  9 G2532 And G1321 they taught G1722 in G3588   G* Judah, G2532 and G3326 with G1473 them G976 was the book G3551 of the law G2962 of the lord . G2532 And G1330 they went through G1722 in G3588 the G4172 cities G* of Judah G2532 and G1321 taught G3588 the G2992 people.
