Galatians 3:8-29

  3:8   4275 προϊδούσα [⁴saw at a distance 1161 δε ¹And 3588 η ²the 1124 γραφή ³scripture] 3754 ότι that 1537 εκ of 4102 πίστεως belief 1344 δικαιοί [²justifies 3588 τα ³the 1484 έθνη ⁴nations 3588 ο   2316 θεός ¹God], 4283 προευηγγελίσατο advancing good news 3588 τω   * Αβραάμ to Abraham, 3754 ότι saying that, 2127 ευλογηθήσονται [⁴shall be blessed 1722 εν ⁵by 1473 σοι ⁶you 3956 πάντα ¹All 3588 τα ²the 1484 έθνη ³nations].   3:9   5620 ώστε So that 3588 οι the ones 1537 εκ of 4102 πίστεως belief 2127 ευλογούνται are blessed 4862 συν with 3588 τω the 4103 πιστώ believing * Αβραάμ Abraham.   3:10   3745-1063 όσοι γαρ For as many as 1537 εξ [²of 2041 έργων ³works 3551 νόμου ⁴of law 1510.2.6 εισίν ¹are], 5259 υπό [²under 2671 κατάραν ³a curse 1510.2.6 εισί ¹they are]. 1125-1063 γέγραπται γαρ For it has been written, 1944 επικατάρατος Accursed be 3956 πας all 3739 ος who 3756 ουκ do not 1696 εμμένει adhere 1722 εν in 3956 πάσι all 3588 τοις the things 1125 γεγραμμένοις having been written 1722 εν in 3588 τω the 975 βιβλίω scroll 3588 του of the 3551 νομου law 3588 του   4160 ποιήσαι to do 1473 αυτά them.   3:11   3754-1161 ότι δε But that 1722 εν by 3551 νόμω law 3762 ουδείς no one 1344 δικαιούται is being justified 3844 παρά with 3588 τω   2316 θεώ God 1212 δήλον is manifest; 3754 ότι for it says, 3588 ο The 1342 δίκαιος just 1537 εκ [²of 4102 πίστεως ³belief 2198 ζήσεται ¹shall live].   3:12   3588-1161 ο δε But the 3551 νόμος law 3756-1510.2.3 ουκ έστιν is not 1537 εκ of 4102 πίστεως belief; 235 αλλ΄ but 3588 ο the 4160 ποιήσας [²observing 1473 αυτά ³them 444 άνθρωπος ¹man] 2198 ζήσεται shall live 1722 εν by 1473 αυτοίς them.   3:13   5547 χριστός Christ 1473-1805 ημάς εξηγόρασεν bought us back 1537 εκ from 3588 της the 2671 κατάρας curse 3588 του of the 3551 νόμου law, 1096 γενόμενος having become 5228 υπέρ [²for 1473 ημών ³us 2671 κατάρα ¹a curse]. 1125-1063 γέγραπται γαρ For it has been written, 1944 επικατάρατος Accursed is 3956 πας every one 3588 ο   2910 κρεμάμενος hanging 1909 επί upon 3586 ξύλου a tree,   3:14   2443 ίνα that 1519 εις to 3588 τα the 1484 έθνη nations 3588 η the 2129 ευλογία blessing 3588 του   * Αβραάμ of Abraham 1096 γένηται should take place 1722 εν in 5547 χριστώ Christ * Ιησού Jesus, 2443 ίνα that 3588 την the 1860 επαγγελίαν promise 3588 του of the 4151 πνεύματος spirit 2983 λάβωμεν we should receive 1223 διά through 3588 της the 4102 πίστεως belief.   3:15   80 αδελφοί Brethren, 2596 κατά according to 444 άνθρωπον man 3004 λέγω I speak. 3676 όμως Even 444 ανθρώπου [²of a man 2964 κεκυρωμένην ³having been validated 1242 διαθήκην ¹a covenant], 3762 ουδείς no one 114 αθετεί annuls 2228 η or 1928 επιδιατάσσεται adds further.   3:16   3588 τω   1161 δε And to * Αβραάμ Abraham 4483 ερρέθησαν [³were spoken 3588 αι ¹the 1860 επαγγελίαι ²promises], 2532 και and 3588 τω to 4690-1473 σπέρματι αυτού his seed. 3756 ου [²he does not 3004 λέγει ³say 2532 και ¹And], 3588 τοις to the 4690 σπέρμασιν seeds, 5613 ως as 1909 επί unto 4183 πολλών many; 235 αλλ΄ but 5613 ως as 1909 εφ΄ unto 1520 ενός one, saying, 2532 και And 3588 τω to 4690-1473 σπέρματί σου your seed -- 3739 ος which 1510.2.3 εστι is 5547 χριστός Christ.   3:17   3778-1161 τούτο δε And this 3004 λέγω I say, 1242 διαθήκην the covenant 4300 προκεκυρωμένην being validated before 5259 υπό by 3588 του   2316 θεού God 1519 εις in 5547 χριστού Christ -- 3588 ο   3326 μετά [³after 2094 έτη ⁷years 5071 τετρακόσια ⁴four hundred 2532 και ⁵and 5144 τριάκοντα ⁶thirty 1096 γεγονώς ²taking place 3551 νόμος ¹the law] 3756 ουκ does not 208 ακυροί void 1519-3588 εις το so as to 2673 καταργήσαι render useless 3588 την the 1860 επαγγελίαν promise.   3:18   1487-1063 ει γαρ For if 1537 εκ [³is of 3551 νόμου ⁴law 3588 η ¹the 2817 κληρονομία ²inheritance], 3765 ουκέτι no longer 1537 εξ is it of 1860 επαγγελίας promise; 3588 τω   1161 δε but * Αβραάμ to Abraham 1223 δι΄ through 1860 επαγγελίας promise 5483-3588-2316 κεχάρισται ο θεός God granted it.   3:19   5100 τι Why 3767 ούν then 3588 ο the 3551 νόμος law? 3588 των [³of the 3847 παραβάσεων ⁴violations 5484 χάριν ²for favor 4369 προσετέθη ¹It was added], 891 άχρις until 3739 ου of which time 2064 έλθη [³should come 3588 το ¹the 4690 σπέρμα ²seed] 3739 ω to whom 1861 επήγγελται it has been promised; 1299 διαταγείς it was set in order 1223 δι΄ by 32 αγγέλων messengers 1722 εν in 5495 χειρί the hand 3316 μεσίτου of a mediator.   3:20   3588-1161 ο δε But the 3316 μεσίτης mediator 1520 ενός [³one 3756 ουκ ²not 1510.2.3 έστιν ¹is]; 3588 ο   1161 δε but 2316 θεός God 1520-1510.2.3 εις εστιν is one.   3:21   3588-3767 ο ουν Then is the 3551 νόμος law 2596 κατά against 3588 των the 1860 επαγγελιών promises 3588 του   2316 θεού of God? 3361-1096 μη γένοιτο May it not be. 1487-1063 ει γαρ For if 1325 εδόθη [²was given 3551 νόμος ¹a law] 3588 ο   1410 δυνάμενος being able 2227 ζωοποιήσαι to restore life, 3689 όντως then really 302 αν [⁴then 1537 εκ ⁵of 3551 νόμου ⁶law 1510.7.3 ην ³was 3588 η ¹the 1343 δικαιοσύνη ²righteousness].   3:22   235 αλλά But 4788 συνέκλεισεν [³consigned 3588 η ¹the 1124 γραφή ²scripture] 3588-3956 τα πάντα the whole 5259 υπό under 266 αμαρτίαν sin, 2443 ίνα that 3588 η the 1860 επαγγελία promise 1537 εκ of 4102 πίστεως belief * Ιησού of Jesus 5547 χριστού Christ 1325 δοθή should be given 3588 τοις to the ones 4100 πιστεύουσι trusting.   3:23   4253 προ [²before 3588 του   1161 δε ¹But 2064 ελθείν ⁵coming 3588 την ³the 4102 πίστιν ⁴belief], 5259 υπό [²by 3551 νόμον ³law 5432 εφρουρούμεθα ¹we were guarded], 4788 συγκεκλεισμένοι having been consigned 1519 εις to 3588 την the 3195 μέλλουσαν about to be 4102 πίστιν [²belief 601 αποκαλυφθήναι ¹uncovering].   3:24   5620 ώστε So that 3588 ο the 3551 νόμος law 3807-1473 παιδαγωγός ημών [²our instructor 1096 γέγονεν ¹has become] 1519 εις up to 5547 χριστόν Christ, 2443 ίνα that 1537 εκ [²of 4102 πίστεως ³belief 1344 δικαιωθώμεν ¹we should be justified].   3:25   2064 ελθούσης [⁴having come 1161 δε ¹But 3588 της ²of the 4102 πίστεως ³belief], 3765 ουκέτι no longer 5259 υπό [²under 3807 παιδαγωγόν ³an instructor 1510.2.4 εσμεν ¹are we];   3:26   3956 πάντες [³all 1063 γαρ ¹for 5207 υιοί ⁴sons 2316 θεού ⁵of God 1510.2.5 εστέ ²you are] 1223 διά through 3588 της the 4102 πίστεως belief 1722 εν in 5547 χριστώ Christ * Ιησού Jesus.   3:27   3745-1063 όσοι γαρ For as many as 907 εβαπτίσθητε were immersed 5547 χριστόν [²Christ 1746 ενεδύσασθε ¹put on].   3:28   3756-1762 ουκ ένι There is not * Ιουδαίος Jew 3761 ουδέ nor * Έλλην Greek; 3756-1762 ουκ ένι there is not 1401 δούλος bondman 3761 ουδέ nor 1658 ελεύθερος free; 3756-1762 ουκ ένι there is not 730 άρσεν male 2532 και and 2338 θήλυ female; 3956 πάντες [⁴all 1063 γαρ ¹for 1473 υμείς ²you 1520 εις ⁵one 1510.2.5 εστέ ³are] 1722 εν in 5547 χριστώ Christ * Ιησού Jesus.   3:29   1487-1161 ει δε And if 1473 υμείς you 5547 χριστού are of Christ, 686 άρα then 3588 του [²of the * Αβραάμ ⁴of Abraham 4690 σπέρμα ³seed 1510.2.5 εστέ ¹you are], 2532 και and 2596 κατ΄ [²according to 1860 επαγγελίαν ³promise 2818 κληρονόμοι ¹heirs].
