Daniel 2:2-10

  2:2   2532 και And 2036 είπεν [³said 3588 ο ¹the 935 βασιλεύς ²king] 2564 καλέσαι to call 3588 τους the 1883.3 επαοιδούς enchanters, 2532 και and 3588 τους the 3097 μάγους magi, 2532 και and 3588 τους the 5333 φαρμακούς administers of potions, 2532 και and 3588 τους the * Χαλδαίους Chaldeans, 3588 του   312 αναγγείλαι to announce 3588 τω to the 935 βασιλεί king 3588 τα the things 1798-1473 ενύπνια αυτού of his dreams. 2532 και And 2064 ήλθον they came 2532 και and 2476 έστησαν stood 1799 ενώπιον before 3588 του the 935 βασιλέως king.   2:3   2532 και And 2036 είπεν [³said 1473 αυτοίς ⁴to them 3588 ο ¹the 935 βασιλεύς ²king], 1797 ενυπνιάσθην I dreamed, 2532 και and 1839 εξέστη it startled 3588 το   4151-1473 πνεύμά μου my spirit 3588 του so as 1097 γνώναι to know 3588 το the 1798 ενύπνιον dream.   2:4   2532 και And 2980 ελάλησαν [³spoke 3588 οι ¹the * Χαλδαίοι ²Chaldeans] 3588 τω to the 935 βασιλεί king * Συριστί in Syriac, 935 βασιλεύ O king, 1519 εις [²into 3588 τους ³the 165 αιώνας ⁴eons 2198 ζήθι ¹live]! 1473 συ You 2036 είπον tell 3588 το the 1798 ενύπνιον dream 3588 τοις to 3816-1473 παισί σου your servants! 2532 και and 3588 την the 4793.1 σύγκρισιν interpretation 1473 αυτού of it 312 αναγγελούμεν we shall announce.   2:5   611 απεκρίθη [³answered 3588 ο ¹The 935 βασιλεύς ²king] 2532 και and 2036 είπε said 3588 τοις to the * Χαλδαίοις Chaldeans, 3588 ο The 3056 λόγος matter 575 απ΄ [²from 1473 εμού ³me 868 απέστη ¹departed]. 1437 εάν If 3767 ουν then 3361 μη you should not 1107 γνωρίσητέ make known 1473 μοι to me 3588 το the 1798 ενύπνιον dream 2532 και and 3588 την the 4793.1 σύγκρισιν interpretation 1473 αυτού of it, 1519 εις [²for 684 απώλειαν ³destruction 1510.8.5 έσεσθε ¹you will be], 2532 και and 3588 οι   3624-1473 οίκοι υμών your houses 1283 διαρπαγήσονται shall be torn in pieces.   2:6   1437-1161 εάν δε But if 3588 το the 1798 ενύπνιον dream 2532 και and 3588 την the 4793.1 σύγκρισιν interpretation 1473 αυτού of it 1107 γνωρίσητέ you should make known 1473 μοι to me, 1390 δόματα gifts 2532 και and 1431 δωρεάς favors without charge, 2532 και and 5092 τιμήν [²honor 4183 πολλήν ¹much] 2983 λήψεσθε you shall receive 3844 παρ΄ from 1473 εμού me. 4133 πλην Except 3588 το the 1798 ενύπνιον dream 2532 και and 3588 την the 4793.1 σύγκρισιν interpretation 1473 αυτού of it 518 απαγγείλατέ report 1473 μοι to me!   2:7   611 απεκρίθησαν They answered 1208 δεύτερον a second time 2532 και and 2036 είπαν said, 3588 ο [²the 935 βασιλεύς ³king 2036 ειπάτω ¹Let] tell 3588 το the 1798 ενύπνιον dream 3588 τοις to 3816-1473 παισίν αυτού his servants! 2532 και and 3588 την the 4793.1 σύγκρισιν interpretation 1473 αυτού of it 312 αναγγελούμεν we shall announce.   2:8   2532 και And 611 απεκρίθη [³answered 3588 ο ¹the 935 βασιλεύς ²king] 2532 και and 2036 είπεν said, 1909 επ΄ In 225 αληθείας truth 1492-1473 οίδα εγώ I know 3754 ότι that 2540 καιρόν [³time 1473 υμείς ¹you 1805 εξαγοράζετε ²buy back], 2532 και even 2530 καθότι in so far as 1492 είδετε you knew 3754 ότι that 868 απέστη [³departed 575 απ΄ ⁴from 1473 εμού ⁵me 3588 το ¹the 4487 ρήμα ²word].   2:9   1437 εάν If 3767 ουν then 3588 το the 1798 ενύπνιον dream 3361 μη you should not 312 αναγγείλητέ announce 1473 μοι to me, 1492 οίδα I know 3754 ότι that 4487 ρήμα [⁴word 5571 ψευδές ¹a lying 2532 και ²and 1311 διεφθαρμένον ³corrupt] 4934 συνέθεσθε you agreed 2036 ειπείν to speak 1799 ενώπιόν before 1473 μου me 2193-3739 έως ου until 3588 ο the 2540 καιρός time 3928 παρέλθη should go by. 3588 το   1798-1473 ενύπνιόν μου [³my dream 2036 είπατέ ¹Tell 1473 μοι ²to me]! 2532 και and 1097 γνώσομαι I shall know 3754 ότι that 2532 και also 3588 την   4793.1-1473 σύγκρισιν αυτού its interpretation 312 αναγγελείτέ you shall announce 1473 μοι to me.   2:10   611 απεκρίθησαν Answered 3825 πάλιν again 3588 οι the * Χαλδαίοι Chaldeans 1799 ενώπιον before 3588 του the 935 βασιλέως king, 2532 και and 3004 λέγουσιν they say, 3756-1510.2.3 ουκ έστιν There is not 444 άνθρωπος a man 1909 επί upon 3588 της the 3584 ξηράς dry land 3748 όστις who 1410 δυνήσεται is able 3588 το [²the 4487 ρήμα ³discourse 3588 του ⁴of the 935 βασιλέως ⁵king 1107 γνωρίσαι ¹to make known], 2530 καθότι in so far as 3956 πας every 935 βασιλεύς [²king 3173 μέγας ¹great] 2532 και and 758 άρχων ruler 4487 ρήμα [²matter 5108 τοιούτον ¹according to such] 3756-1905 ουκ επερωτά asked not 1883.3 επαοιδόν an enchanter, 3097 μάγον magus or * Χαλδαίον Chaldean.
