Ezekiel 36:1-15

  1 H1121 Also, thou son H120 of man H5012 , prophesy [H8734]   H2022 unto the mountains H3478 of Israel H559 , and say [H8804]   H2022 , Ye mountains H3478 of Israel H8085 , hear [H8798]   H1697 the word H3068 of the LORD:

  2 H559 Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H341 ; Because the enemy [H8802]   H559 hath said [H8804]   H1889 against you, Aha H5769 , even the ancient H1116 high places H4181 are ours in possession:

  3 H5012 Therefore prophesy [H8734]   H559 and say [H8804]   H559 , Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H8074 ; Because they have made you desolate [H8800]   H7602 , and swallowed you up [H8800]   H5439 on every side H4181 , that ye might be a possession H7611 unto the residue H1471 of the heathen H5927 , and ye are taken up [H8735]   H8193 in the lips H3956 of talkers H1681 , and are an infamy H5971 of the people:

  4 H2022 Therefore, ye mountains H3478 of Israel H8085 , hear [H8798]   H1697 the word H136 of the Lord H3069 GOD H559 ; Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H2022 to the mountains H1389 , and to the hills H650 , to the rivers H1516 , and to the valleys H8074 , to the desolate [H8802]   H2723 wastes H5892 , and to the cities H5800 that are forsaken [H8737]   H957 , which became a prey H3933 and derision H7611 to the residue H1471 of the heathen H5439 that are round about;

  5 H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H784 ; Surely in the fire H7068 of my jealousy H1696 have I spoken [H8765]   H7611 against the residue H1471 of the heathen H123 , and against all Idumea H5414 , which have appointed [H8804]   H776 my land H4181 into their possession H8057 with the joy H3824 of all their heart H7589 , with despiteful H5315 minds H4054 , to cast it out H957 for a prey.

  6 H5012 Prophesy [H8734]   H127 therefore concerning the land H3478 of Israel H559 , and say [H8804]   H2022 unto the mountains H1389 , and to the hills H650 , to the rivers H1516 , and to the valleys H559 , Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H1696 ; Behold, I have spoken [H8765]   H7068 in my jealousy H2534 and in my fury H5375 , because ye have borne [H8804]   H3639 the shame H1471 of the heathen:

  7 H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H5375 ; I have lifted up [H8804]   H3027 mine hand H1471 , Surely the heathen H5439 that are about H5375 you, they shall bear [H8799]   H3639 their shame.

  8 H2022 But ye, O mountains H3478 of Israel H5414 , ye shall shoot forth [H8799]   H6057 your branches H5375 , and yield [H8799]   H6529 your fruit H5971 to my people H3478 of Israel H7126 ; for they are at hand [H8765]   H935 to come [H8800]  .

  9 H6437 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn [H8804]   H5647 unto you, and ye shall be tilled [H8738]   H2232 and sown [H8738]  :

  10 H7235 And I will multiply [H8689]   H120 men H1004 upon you, all the house H3478 of Israel H5892 , even all of it: and the cities H3427 shall be inhabited [H8738]   H2723 , and the wastes H1129 shall be builded [H8735]  :

  11 H7235 And I will multiply [H8689]   H120 upon you man H929 and beast H7235 ; and they shall increase [H8804]   H6509 and bring fruit [H8804]   H3427 : and I will settle [H8689]   H6927 you after your old estates H2895 , and will do better [H8689]   H7221 unto you than at your beginnings H3045 : and ye shall know [H8804]   H3068 that I am the LORD.

  12 H120 Yea, I will cause men H3212 to walk [H8689]   H5971 upon you, even my people H3478 Israel H3423 ; and they shall possess [H8804]   H5159 thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance H3254 , and thou shalt no more [H8686]   H7921 henceforth bereave [H8763]   them of men .

  13 H559 Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H559 ; Because they say [H8802]   H398 unto you, Thou land devourest up [H8802]   H120 men H7921 , and hast bereaved [H8764]   H1471 thy nations;

  14 H398 Therefore thou shalt devour [H8799]   H120 men H7921 no more, neither bereave [H8762]   H3782   [H8762]   H1471 thy nations H5002 any more, saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD.

  15 H8085 Neither will I cause men to hear [H8686]   H3639 in thee the shame H1471 of the heathen H5375 any more, neither shalt thou bear [H8799]   H2781 the reproach H5971 of the people H1471 any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations H3782 to fall [H8686]   H5002 any more, saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD.
