Numbers 20:14-19 And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us:

15 H1 how our fathers H3381 went down H4714 into Egypt, H3427 and we dwelt H4714 in Egypt H7227 a long H3117 time; H4714 and the Egyptians H7489 dealt ill H1 with us, and our fathers:

16 H6817 and when we cried H3068 unto Jehovah, H8085 he heard H6963 our voice, H7971 and sent H4397 an angel, H3318 and brought us forth H4714 out of Egypt: H6946 and, behold, we are in Kadesh, H5892 a city H7097 in the uttermost H1366 of thy border.

17 H5674 Let us pass, H776 I pray thee, through thy land: H5674 we will not pass H7704 through field H3754 or through vineyard, H8354 neither will we drink H4325 of the water H875 of the wells: H3212 we will go H4428 along the king's H1870 highway; H5186 we will not turn H3225 aside to the right hand H8040 nor to the left, H5674 until we have passed H1366 thy border.

18 H123 And Edom H559 said H5674 unto him, Thou shalt not pass H3318 through me, lest I come out H2719 with the sword H7125 against thee.

19 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H559 said H5927 unto him, We will go H4546 up by the highway; H8354 and if we drink H4325 of thy water, H4735 I and my cattle, H5414 then will I give H1697 the price thereof: let me only, without doing anything H5674 else, pass through H7272 on my feet.
