Joshua 6:6-20 And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of Jehovah.

7 H559 And they said H5971 unto the people, H5674 Pass on, H5437 and compass H5892 the city, H2502 and let the armed H5674 men pass on H6440 before H727 the ark H3068 of Jehovah.

8 H3091 And it was so, that, when Joshua H559 had spoken H5971 unto the people, H7651 the seven H3548 priests H5375 bearing H7651 the seven H7782 trumpets H3104 of rams' horns H6440 before H3068 Jehovah H5674 passed on, H8628 and blew H7782 the trumpets: H727 and the ark H1285 of the covenant H3068 of Jehovah H1980 followed H310 them.

9 H2502 And the armed H1980 men went H6440 before H3548 the priests H8628 that blew H7782 the trumpets, H622 and the rearward H1980 went H310 after H727 the ark, H8628 the priests blowing H7782 the trumpets H1980 as they went.

10 H3091 And Joshua H6680 commanded H5971 the people, H559 saying, H7321 Ye shall not shout, H6963 nor let your voice H8085 be heard, H1697 neither shall any word H3318 proceed H6310 out of your mouth, H3117 until the day H559 I bid H7321 you shout; H7321 then shall ye shout.

11 H727 So he caused the ark H3068 of Jehovah H5437 to compass H5892 the city, H5362 going about H6471 it once: H935 and they came H4264 into the camp, H3885 and lodged H4264 in the camp.

12 H3091 And Joshua H7925 rose early H1242 in the morning, H3548 and the priests H5375 took up H727 the ark H3068 of Jehovah.

13 H7651 And the seven H3548 priests H5375 bearing H7651 the seven H7782 trumpets H3104 of rams' horns H6440 before H727 the ark H3068 of Jehovah H1980 went on H1980 continually, H8628 and blew H7782 the trumpets: H2502 and the armed men H1980 went H6440 before H622 them; and the rearward H1980 came H310 after H727 the ark H3068 of Jehovah, H8628 the priests blowing H7782 the trumpets H1980 as they went.

15 H7637 And it came to pass on the seventh H3117 day, H7925 that they rose early H5927 at the dawning H7837 of the day, H5437 and compassed H5892 the city H4941 after the same manner H7651 seven H6471 times: H3117 only on that day H5437 they compassed H5892 the city H7651 seven H6471 times.

16 H7637 And it came to pass at the seventh H6471 time, H3548 when the priests H8628 blew H7782 the trumpets, H3091 Joshua H559 said H5971 unto the people, H7321 Shout; H3068 for Jehovah H5414 hath given H5892 you the city.

17 H5892 And the city H2764 shall be devoted, H3068 even it and all that is therein, to Jehovah: H7343 only Rahab H2181 the harlot H2421 shall live, H1004 she and all that are with her in the house, H2244 because she hid H4397 the messengers H7971 that we sent.

18 H7535 But as for you, only H8104 keep H2764 yourselves from the devoted thing, H2763 lest when ye have devoted H3947 it, ye take H2764 of the devoted thing; H7760 so would ye make H4264 the camp H3478 of Israel H2764 accursed, H5916 and trouble it.

19 H3701 But all the silver, H2091 and gold, H3627 and vessels H5178 of brass H1270 and iron, H6944 are holy H3068 unto Jehovah: H935 they shall come H214 into the treasury H3068 of Jehovah.

20 H5971 So the people H7321 shouted, H8628 and the priests blew H7782 the trumpets; H5971 and it came to pass, when the people H8085 heard H6963 the sound H7782 of the trumpet, H5971 that the people H7321 shouted H1419 with a great H8643 shout, H2346 and the wall H5307 fell down flat, H5971 so that the people H5927 went up H5892 into the city, H376 every man H3920 straight before him, and they took H5892 the city.
