Jeremiah 36:2-10 Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.

3 H1004 It may be that the house H3063 of Judah H8085 will hear H7451 all the evil H2803 which I purpose H6213 to do H7725 unto them; that they may return H376 every man H7451 from his evil H1870 way; H5545 that I may forgive H5771 their iniquity H2403 and their sin.

4 H3414 Then Jeremiah H7121 called H1263 Baruch H1121 the son H5374 of Neriah; H1263 and Baruch H3789 wrote H6310 from the mouth H3414 of Jeremiah H1697 all the words H3068 of Jehovah, H1696 which he had spoken H4039 unto him, upon a roll H5612 of a book.

5 H3414 And Jeremiah H6680 commanded H1263 Baruch, H559 saying, H6113 I am shut up; H3201 I cannot H935 go H1004 into the house H3068 of Jehovah:

6 H935 therefore go H7121 thou, and read H4039 in the roll, H3789 which thou hast written H6310 from my mouth, H1697 the words H3068 of Jehovah H241 in the ears H5971 of the people H3068 in Jehovah's H1004 house H6685 upon the H3117 fast-day; H7121 and also thou shalt read H241 them in the ears H3063 of all Judah H935 that come out H5892 of their cities.

7 H5307 It may be they will present H8467 their supplication H6440 before H3068 Jehovah, H7725 and will return H376 every one H7451 from his evil H1870 way; H1419 for great H639 is the anger H2534 and the wrath H3068 that Jehovah H1696 hath pronounced H5971 against this people.

8 H1263 And Baruch H1121 the son H5374 of Neriah H6213 did H3414 according to all that Jeremiah H5030 the prophet H6680 commanded H7121 him, reading H5612 in the book H1697 the words H3068 of Jehovah H3068 in Jehovah's H1004 house.

9 H2549 Now it came to pass in the fifth H8141 year H3079 of Jehoiakim H1121 the son H2977 of Josiah, H4428 king H3063 of Judah, H8671 in the ninth H2320 month, H5971 that all the people H3389 in Jerusalem, H5971 and all the people H935 that came H5892 from the cities H3063 of Judah H3389 unto Jerusalem, H7121 proclaimed H6685 a fast H6440 before H3068 Jehovah.

10 H7121 Then read H1263 Baruch H5612 in the book H1697 the words H3414 of Jeremiah H1004 in the house H3068 of Jehovah, H3957 in the chamber H1587 of Gemariah H1121 the son H8227 of Shaphan, H5608 the scribe, H5945 in the upper H2691 court, H6607 at the entry H2319 of the new H8179 gate H3068 of Jehovah's H1004 house, H241 in the ears H5971 of all the people.
