Amos 7:9-17 And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

10 H558 Then Amaziah H3548 the priest H1008 of Bethel H7971 sent H3379 to Jeroboam H4428 king H3478 of Israel, H559 saying, H5986 Amos H7194 has conspired H5921 against H7130 you in the middle H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel: H776 the land H3201 is not able H3557 to bear H3605 all H1697 his words.

11 H3541 For thus H5986 Amos H559 said, H3379 Jeroboam H4191 shall die H2719 by the sword, H3478 and Israel H1540 shall surely be led away captive H127 out of their own land.

12 H558 Also Amaziah H559 said H5986 to Amos, H2374 O you seer, H3212 go, H1272 flee H413 you away into H776 the land H3063 of Judah, H8033 and there H398 eat H3899 bread, H5012 and prophesy H8033 there:

13 H5012 But prophesy H3254 not again H5750 any more H1008 at Bethel: H4428 for it is the king’s H4720 chapel, H4467 and it is the king’s H1004 court.

14 H6030 Then answered H5986 Amos, H559 and said H558 to Amaziah, H3808 I was no H5030 prophet, H3808 neither H5030 was I a prophet’s H1121 son; H951 but I was an herdsman, H1103 and a gatherer H8256 of sycomore fruit:

15 H3068 And the LORD H3947 took H310 me as I followed H6629 the flock, H3068 and the LORD H559 said H3212 to me, Go, H5012 prophesy H5971 to my people H3478 Israel.

16 H6258 Now H8085 therefore hear H1697 you the word H3068 of the LORD: H559 You say, H5012 Prophesy H5921 not against H3478 Israel, H5197 and drop H5921 not your word against H1004 the house H3446 of Isaac.

17 H3651 Therefore H3541 thus H559 said H3068 the LORD; H802 Your wife H2181 shall be an harlot H5892 in the city, H1121 and your sons H1323 and your daughters H5307 shall fall H2719 by the sword, H127 and your land H2505 shall be divided H2256 by line; H4191 and you shall die H2931 in a polluted H127 land: H3478 and Israel H3212 shall surely go H1540 into captivity H127 forth of his land.
