Acts 6:1-4

  6:1   1722-1161 εν δε And in 3588 ταις   2250-3778 ημέραις ταύταις these days 4129 πληθυνόντων [³were multiplying 3588 των ¹the 3101 μαθητών ²disciples], 1096 εγένετο and there took place 1112 γογγυσμός a grumbling 3588 των of the * Ελληνιστών Hellenists 4314 προς against 3588 τους the * Εβραίους Hebrews, 3754 ότι that 3865 παρεθεωρούντο [²were overlooked 1722 εν ³in 3588 τη ⁴the 1248 διακονία ⁶service 3588 τη   2522 καθημερινή ⁵daily 3588 αι   5503-1473 χήραι αυτών ¹their widows].   6:2   4341 προσκαλεσάμενοι [⁴having called 1161 δε ¹And 3588 οι ²the 1427 δώδεκα ³twelve] 3588 το the 4128 πλήθος multitude 3588 των of the 3101 μαθητών disciples, 2036 είπον said, 3756 ουκ [²not 701 αρεστόν ³pleasing 1510.2.3 εστιν ¹It is] 1473 ημάς for us 2641 καταλείψαντος leaving behind 3588 τον the 3056 λόγον word 3588 του   2316 θεού of God, 1247 διακονείν to serve 5132 τραπέζαις tables.   6:3   1980 επισκέψασθε Number 3767 ούν [²then 80 αδελφοί ¹brethren]! 435 άνδρας men 1537 εξ from among 1473 υμών you 3140 μαρτυρουμένους being witnesses -- 2033 επτά seven men, 4134 πλήρεις full 4151 πνεύματος [²spirit 39 αγίου ¹of holy] 2532 και and 4678 σοφίας wisdom, 3739 ους whom 2525 καταστήσομεν we will place 1909 επί over 3588 της   5532-3778 χρείας ταύτης this need.   6:4   1473-1161 ημείς δε But we 3588 τη   4335 προσευχή in prayer 2532 και and 3588 τη in the 1248 διακονία service 3588 του of the 3056 λόγου word 4342 προσκαρτερήσομεν will attend constantly.
