Acts 22:24-28

  22:24   2753 εκέλευσεν [³bid 1473 αυτόν ⁴him 3588 ο ¹the 5506 χιλίαρχος ²commander] 71 άγεσθαι to be led 1519 εις unto 3588 την the 3925 παρεμβολήν camp, 2036 ειπών having said, 3148 μάστιξιν [³with whips 426 ανετάζεσθαι ¹Investigate 1473 αυτόν ²him], 2443 ίνα that 1921 επιγνώ we should know 1223 δι΄ for 3739 ην what 156 αιτίαν reason 3779 ούτως thus 2019 επεφώνουν they sounded out 1473 αυτώ against him.   22:25   5613-1161 ως δε And as 4385 προέτειναν αυτόν they stretched him forward 3588 τοις with the 2438 ιμάσιν straps, 2036 είπε [²said 4314 προς ³to 3588 τον ⁴the 2476 εστώτα ⁶standing 1543 εκατόνταρχον ⁵centurion 3588 ο   * Παύλος ¹Paul], 1487 ει Is it 444-* άνθρωπον Ρωμαίον [⁴a Roman man 2532 και ⁵and 178 ακατάκριτον ⁶uncondemned 1832 έξεστιν ¹allowed 1473 υμίν ²for you 3147 μαστίζειν ³to crack the whip on]?   22:26   191-1161 ακούσας δε And hearing, 3588 ο the 1543 εκατόνταρχος centurion 4334 προσελθών came forward 518 απήγγειλε to report 3588 τω to the 5506 χιλιάρχω commander, 3004 λέγων saying, 3708 όρα Look to 5100 τι what 3195 μέλλεις you are about 4160 ποιείν to do! 3588 ο   1063 γαρ for 444-3778 άνθρωπος ούτος this man *-1510.2.3 Ρωμαίός εστι is a Roman.   22:27   4334-1161 προσελθών δε And having come forward, 3588 ο the 5506 χιλίαρχος commander 2036 είπεν said 1473 αυτώ to him, 3004 λέγε Tell 1473 μοι me 1487 ει if 1473 συ you *-1510.2.2 Ρωμαίος ει are a Roman? 3588 ο   1161 δε And 5346 έφη he said, 3483 ναι Yes.   22:28   611 απεκρίθη [⁴responded 5037 τε ¹And 3588 ο ²the 5506 χιλίαρχος ³commander], 1473 εγώ I 4183 πολλού by a great 2774 κεφαλαίου sum 3588 την   4174-3778 πολιτείαν ταύτην [²this citizenship 2932 εκτησάμην ¹acquired]. 3588 ο   1161 δε And * Παύλος Paul 5346 έφη said, 1473-1161 εγώ δε But I 2532 και even 1080 γεγέννημαι was born to it.
