2 Samuel 14:5-11

  5 H4428 And the king H559 [H8799] said H559 [H8799] to her, What aileth thee? And she answered H61 , I am indeed H490 a widow H802 woman H376 , and my husband H4191 [H8799] is dead.

  6 H8198 And thy handmaid H8147 had two H1121 sons H8147 , and they two H5327 [H8735] strove together H7704 in the field H5337 [H8688] , and there was none to part H259 them, but the one H5221 [H8686] smote H259 the other H4191 [H8686] , and slew him.

  7 H4940 And, behold, the whole family H6965 [H8804] hath risen H8198 against thy handmaid H559 [H8799] , and they said H5414 [H8798] , Deliver H5221 [H8688] him that smote H251 his brother H4191 [H8686] , that we may kill H5315 him, for the life H251 of his brother H2026 [H8804] whom he slew H8045 [H8686] ; and we will destroy H3423 [H8802] the heir H3518 [H8765] also: and so they shall quench H1513 my coal H7760 [H8800] which is left H7604 [H8738] , and shall not leave H376 to my husband H8034 neither name H7611 nor remainder H6440 upon H127 the earth.

  8 H4428 And the king H559 [H8799] said H802 to the woman H3212 [H8798] , Go H1004 to thy house H6680 [H8762] , and I will issue an order concerning thee.

  9 H802 And the woman H8621 of Tekoah H559 [H8799] said H4428 to the king H113 , My lord H4428 , O king H5771 , the iniquity H1 be on me, and on my father's H1004 house H4428 : and the king H3678 and his throne H5355 be guiltless.

  10 H4428 And the king H559 [H8799] said H1696 [H8764] , Whoever saith H935 [H8689] any thing to thee, bring H5060 [H8800] him to me, and he shall not touch H3254 [H8686] thee any more.

  11 H559 [H8799] Then said H4428 she, I pray thee, let the king H2142 [H8799] remember H3068 the LORD H430 thy God H1350 [H8802] , that thou wouldest not permit the avenger H1818 of blood H7843 [H8763] to destroy H7235 [H8687] any more H8045 [H8686] , lest they destroy H1121 my son H559 [H8799] . And he said H3068 , As the LORD H2416 liveth H8185 , there shall not one hair H1121 of thy son H5307 [H8799] fall H776 to the earth.
