  3 H8269 And the princes H1121 of the children H5983 of Ammon H559 [H8799] said H2586 to Hanun H113 their lord H5869 , Thinkest H1732 thou that David H3513 [H8764] doth honour H1 thy father H7971 [H8804] , that he hath sent H5162 [H8764] comforters H1732 to thee? hath not David H7971 [H8804] rather sent H5650 his servants H5668 to thee, to H2713 [H8800] search H5892 the city H7270 [H8763] , and to spy it out H2015 [H8800] , and to overthrow it?

  4 H2586 Therefore Hanun H3947 [H8799] took H1732 David's H5650 servants H1548 [H8762] , and shaved off H2677 the one half H2206 of their beards H3772 [H8799] , and cut off H4063 their garments H2677 in the middle H8357 , even to their buttocks H7971 [H8762] , and sent them away.
