2 Samuel 9:2-13 And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba . And when they had called him unto David , the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba ? And he said , Thy servant is he .

3 H4428 And the king H559 said [H8799] H657 , Is there not H376 yet any H1004 of the house H7586 of Saul H6213 , that I may shew [H8799] H2617 the kindness H430 of God H6717 unto him? And Ziba H559 said [H8799] H4428 unto the king H3083 , Jonathan H1121 hath yet a son H5223 , which is lame H7272 on his feet.

4 H4428 And the king H559 said [H8799] H375 unto him, Where H6717 is he? And Ziba H559 said [H8799] H4428 unto the king H1004 , Behold, he is in the house H4353 of Machir H1121 , the son H5988 of Ammiel H3810 , in Lodebar.

5 H4428 Then king H1732 David H7971 sent [H8799] H3947 , and fetched [H8799] H1004 him out of the house H4353 of Machir H1121 , the son H5988 of Ammiel H3810 , from Lodebar.

6 H4648 Now when Mephibosheth H1121 , the son H3083 of Jonathan H1121 , the son H7586 of Saul H935 , was come [H8799] H1732 unto David H5307 , he fell [H8799] H6440 on his face H7812 , and did reverence [H8691] H1732 . And David H559 said [H8799] H4648 , Mephibosheth H559 . And he answered [H8799] H5650 , Behold thy servant!

7 H1732 And David H559 said [H8799] H3372 unto him, Fear [H8799] H6213 not: for I will surely [H8800] H6213 shew [H8799] H2617 thee kindness H3083 for Jonathan H1 thy father's H7725 sake, and will restore [H8689] H7704 thee all the land H7586 of Saul H1 thy father H398 ; and thou shalt eat [H8799] H3899 bread H7979 at my table H8548 continually.

8 H7812 And he bowed [H8691] H559 himself, and said [H8799] H5650 , What is thy servant H6437 , that thou shouldest look [H8804] H4191 upon such a dead [H8801] H3611 dog as I am ?

9 H4428 Then the king H7121 called [H8799] H6717 to Ziba H7586 , Saul's H5288 servant H559 , and said [H8799] H5414 unto him, I have given [H8804] H113 unto thy master's H1121 son H1961 all that pertained [H8804] H7586 to Saul H1004 and to all his house.

10 H1121 Thou therefore, and thy sons H5650 , and thy servants H5647 , shall till [H8804] H127 the land H935 for him, and thou shalt bring [H8689] H113 in the fruits, that thy master's H1121 son H3899 may have food H398 to eat [H8804] H4648 : but Mephibosheth H113 thy master's H1121 son H398 shall eat [H8799] H3899 bread H8548 alway H7979 at my table H6717 . Now Ziba H2568 had fifteen H6240 H1121 sons H6242 and twenty H5650 servants.

11 H559 Then said [H8799] H6717 Ziba H4428 unto the king H113 , According to all that my lord H4428 the king H6680 hath commanded [H8762] H5650 his servant H5650 , so shall thy servant H6213 do [H8799] H4648 . As for Mephibosheth H398 , said the king, he shall eat [H8802] H7979 at my table H259 , as one H4428 of the king's H1121 sons.

12 H4648 And Mephibosheth H6996 had a young H1121 son H8034 , whose name H4316 was Micha H4186 . And all that dwelt H1004 in the house H6717 of Ziba H5650 were servants H4648 unto Mephibosheth.

13 H4648 So Mephibosheth H3427 dwelt [H8802] H3389 in Jerusalem H398 : for he did eat [H8802] H8548 continually H4428 at the king's H7979 table H6455 ; and was lame H8147 on both H7272 his feet.
