Mark 12:1-9 And he began to speak unto them by parables . A certain man planted a vineyard , and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat , and built a tower , and let it out to husbandmen , and went into a far country .

7 G1161 But G1565 those G1092 husbandmen G2036 said [G5627] G4314 among G1438 themselves G3754 , This G3778 G2076 is [G5748] G2818 the heir G1205 ; come [G5773] G615 , let us kill [G5725] G846 him G2532 , and G2817 the inheritance G2071 shall be [G5704] G2257 ours.

8 G2532 And G2983 they took [G5631] G846 him G615 , and killed [G5656] G2532 him, and G1544 cast [G5627] G1854 him out of G290 the vineyard.

9 G5101 What G4160 shall G3767 therefore G2962 the lord G290 of the vineyard G4160 do [G5692] G2064 ? he will come [G5695] G2532 and G622 destroy [G5692] G1092 the husbandmen G2532 , and G1325 will give [G5692] G290 the vineyard G243 unto others.

A man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it, and digged a pit for the winepress, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country. ² And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruits of the vineyard. ³ And they took him, and beat him, and sent him away empty. ⁴ And again he sent unto them another servant; and him they wounded in the head, and handled shamefully. ⁵ And he sent another; and him they killed: and many others; beating some, and killing some. ⁶ He had yet one, a beloved son: he sent him last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son. ⁷ But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours. ⁸ And they took him, and killed him, and cast him forth out of the vineyard. ⁹ What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
