Judges 9:53-57 ותשׁלך cast אשׁה woman אחת And a certain פלח a piece רכב of a millstone על upon ראשׁ head, אבימלך Abimelech's ותרץ and all to broke את גלגלתו׃ his skull.

54 H7121 ויקרא Then he called H4120 מהרה hastily H413 אל unto H5288 הנער the young man H5375 נשׂא his armorbearer, H3627 כליו his armorbearer, H559 ויאמר and said H8025 לו שׁלף unto him, Draw H2719 חרבך thy sword, H4191 ומותתני and slay H6435 פן me, that H559 יאמרו men say H802 לי אשׁה not of me, A woman H2026 הרגתהו slew H1856 וידקרהו thrust him through, H5288 נערו him. And his young man H4191 וימת׃ and he died.

55 H7200 ויראו saw H376 אישׁ And when the men H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3588 כי that H4191 מת was dead, H40 אבימלך Abimelech H1980 וילכו they departed H376 אישׁ every man H4725 למקמו׃ unto his place.

56 H7725 וישׁב rendered H430 אלהים Thus God H853 את H7451 רעת the wickedness H40 אבימלך of Abimelech, H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה he did H1 לאביו unto his father, H2026 להרג in slaying H853 את H7657 שׁבעים his seventy H251 אחיו׃ brethren:

57 H853 ואת H3605 כל And all H7451 רעת the evil H376 אנשׁי of the men H7927 שׁכם of Shechem H7725 השׁיב render H430 אלהים did God H7218 בראשׁם upon their heads: H935 ותבא them came H413 אליהם and upon H7045 קללת the curse H3147 יותם of Jotham H1121 בן the son H3378 ירבעל׃ of Jerubbaal.
