And Jesus turning and seeing her said, Be of good cheer, daughter; thy faith hath saved thee. ²³ And Jesus having come into the house of the ruler, and seeing the flute-players, and the weeping crowd, ²⁴ says to them; Retire: for the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they hooted at Him. ²⁵ And when the crowd was put out, coming to her, He took her by the hand, and the damsel arose.
