ABU(i)
While he was speaking these things to them, behold, there came a ruler, and bowed down to him, saying: My daughter just now died; but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she will live.
And Jesus arose and was following him, he and his disciples.
And behold, a woman, having a flow of blood twelve years, came behind, and touched the fringe of his garment.
For she said within herself: If I only touch his garment, I shall be made whole.
And Jesus, turning and seeing her, said: Daughter, be of good cheer; thy faith has made thee whole.
And the woman was made whole from that hour. And Jesus, coming into the house of the ruler, and seeing the minstrels and the crowd making a noise,
said: Give place; for the maiden is not dead, but is sleeping. And they laughed him to scorn.
But when the crowd was put forth, he went in, and took hold of her hand, and the maiden arose.
