1 Samuel 12:18-24 So Samuel called unto the Lord; and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel.

19 H5971 And all the people H559 said H8050 unto Samuel, H6419 Pray H5650 for your servants H3068 unto the Lord H430 your God, H4191 that we die H3254 not: for we have added H2403 unto all our sins H7451 this evil, H7592 to ask H4428 us a king.

20 H8050 And Samuel H559 said H5971 unto the people, H3372 Fear H6213 not: you have done H7451 all this wickedness: H5493 yet turn not aside H310 from following H3068 the Lord, H5647 but serve H3068 the Lord H3824 with all your heart;

21 H5493 And turn you not aside: H310 for then should you go after H8414 vain H3276 things, which cannot profit H5337 nor deliver; H8414 for they are vain.

22 H3068 For the Lord H5203 will not forsake H5971 his people H1419 for his great H8034 name's H2974 sake: because it has pleased H3068 the Lord H6213 to make H5971 you his people.

23 H595 Moreover as for me, H2486 God forbid H2398 that I should sin H3068 against the Lord H2308 in ceasing H6419 to pray H3384 for you: but I will teach H2896 you the good H3477 and the right H1870 way:

24 H3372 Only fear H3068 the Lord, H5647 and serve H571 him in truth H3824 with all your heart: H7200 for consider H1431 how great things he has done for you.
