Judges 1:1-7 And it came to pass after the death of Joshua, that the children of Israel asked of Jehovah, saying, Who shall go up for us first against the Canaanites, to fight against them?

1 H310 And it came to pass after H4194 the death H3091 of Joshua, H1121 that the children H3478 of Israel H7592 asked H3068 of Jehovah, H559 saying, H5927 Who shall go up H8462 for us first H3669 against the Canaanites, H3898 to fight against them?

2 H3068 And Jehovah H559 said, H3063 Judah H5927 shall go up: H5414 behold, I have delivered H776 the land H3027 into his hand.

3 H3063 And Judah H559 said H8095 unto Simeon H251 his brother, H5927 Come up H1486 with me into my lot, H3898 that we may fight H3669 against the Canaanites; H1980 and I likewise will go H1486 with thee into thy lot. H8095 So Simeon H3212 went with him.

4 H3063 And Judah H5927 went up; H3068 and Jehovah H5414 delivered H3669 the Canaanites H6522 and the Perizzites H3027 into their hand: H5221 and they smote H966 of them in Bezek H6235 ten H505 thousand H376 men.

5 H4672 And they found H137 Adoni-bezek H966 in Bezek; H3898 and they fought H5221 against him, and they smote H3669 the Canaanites H6522 and the Perizzites.

6 H137 But Adoni-bezek H5127 fled; H7291 and they pursued H310 after H270 him, and caught H7112 him, and cut off H931 his thumbs H7272 and his great toes.

7 H137 And Adoni-bezek H559 said, H7657 Threescore and ten H4428 kings, H931 having their thumbs H7272 and their great toes H7112 cut off, H3950 gathered H7979 their food under my table: H6213 as I have done, H430 so God H7999 hath requited H935 me. And they brought H3389 him to Jerusalem, H4191 and he died there.
