Jonah 3:2-9 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.

3 H3124 So Jonah H6965 arose, H3212 and went H5210 unto Nineveh, H1697 according to the word H3068 of Jehovah. H5210 Now Nineveh H430 was an exceeding H1419 great H5892 city, H7969 of three H3117 days' H4109 journey.

4 H3124 And Jonah H2490 began H935 to enter H5892 into the city H259 a H3117 day's H4109 journey, H7121 and he cried, H559 and said, H705 Yet forty H3117 days, H5210 and Nineveh H2015 shall be overthrown.

5 H582 And the people H5210 of Nineveh H539 believed H430 God; H7121 and they proclaimed H6685 a fast, H3847 and put H8242 on sackcloth, H1419 from the greatest H6996 of them even to the least of them.

8 H3680 but let them be covered H8242 with sackcloth, H120 both man H929 and beast, H7121 and let them cry H2394 mightily H430 unto God: H7725 yea, let them turn H376 every one H7451 from his evil H1870 way, H2555 and from the violence H3709 that is in his hands.

9 H3045 Who knoweth H430 whether God H7725 will not turn H5162 and repent, H7725 and turn away H2740 from his fierce H639 anger, H6 that we perish not?
