2 Samuel 6:13-23

  13 H5375 And it was so, that, when they that bare H727 the ark H3068 of Jehovah H6805 had gone H8337 six H6806 paces, H2076 he sacrificed H7794 an ox H4806 and a fatling.

  14 H1732 And David H3769 danced H6440 before H3068 Jehovah H5797 with all his might; H1732 and David H2296 was girded H906 with a linen H646 ephod.

  15 H1732 So David H1004 and all the house H3478 of Israel H5927 brought up H727 the ark H3068 of Jehovah H8643 with shouting, H6963 and with the sound H7782 of the trumpet.

  16 H727 And it was so, as the ark H3068 of Jehovah H935 came H5892 into the city H1732 of David, H4324 that Michal H1323 the daughter H7586 of Saul H8259 looked H2474 out at the window, H7200 and saw H4428 king H1732 David H6339 leaping H3769 and dancing H6440 before H3068 Jehovah; H959 and she despised H3820 him in her heart.

  17 H935 And they brought H727 in the ark H3068 of Jehovah, H3322 and set H4725 it in its place, H8432 in the midst H168 of the tent H1732 that David H5186 had pitched H1732 for it; and David H5927 offered H5930 burnt-offerings H5930 and peace-offerings H6440 before H3068 Jehovah.

  18 H1732 And when David H3615 had made an end H5927 of offering H5927 the burnt-offering H5927 and the peace-offerings, H1288 he blessed H5971 the people H8034 in the name H3068 of Jehovah H6635 of hosts.

  19 H2505 And he dealt H5971 among all the people, H1995 even among the whole multitude H3478 of Israel, H376 both to men H802 and women, H376 to every one H259 a H2471 cake H3899 of bread, H829 and a portion H809 of flesh, and a cake H5971 of raisins. So all the people H3212 departed H376 every one H1004 to his house.

  20 H1732 Then David H7725 returned H1288 to bless H1004 his household. H4324 And Michal H1323 the daughter H7586 of Saul H3318 came out H7125 to meet H1732 David, H559 and said, H3513 How glorious H4428 was the king H3478 of Israel H3117 to-day, H1540 who uncovered H3117 himself to-day H5869 in the eyes H519 of the handmaids H5650 of his servants, H259 as one H7386 of the vain fellows H1540 shamelessly H1540 uncovereth himself!

  21 H1732 And David H559 said H4324 unto Michal, H6440 It was before H3068 Jehovah, H977 who chose H1 me above thy father, H1004 and above all his house, H6680 to appoint H5057 me prince H5971 over the people H3068 of Jehovah, H3478 over Israel: H7832 therefore will I play H6440 before H3068 Jehovah.

  22 H7043 And I will be yet more vile H2063 than this, H8217 and will be base H5869 in mine own sight: H519 but of the handmaids H559 of whom thou hast spoken, H3513 of them shall I be had in honor.

  23 H4324 And Michal H1323 the daughter H7586 of Saul H2056 had no child H3117 unto the day H4194 of her death.
