Numbers 21:7-9 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray to the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

8 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses, H6213 [H8798] Make H8314 thee a fiery serpent, H7760 [H8798] and set H5251 it upon a pole: H5391 [H8803] and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, H7200 [H8804] when he looketh H2425 [H8804] upon it, shall live.

9 H4872 And Moses H6213 [H8799] made H5175 a serpent H5178 of brass, H7760 [H8799] and put H5251 it upon a pole, H5175 and it came to pass, that if a serpent H5391 [H8804] had bitten H376 any man, H5027 [H8689] when he beheld H5175 the serpent H5178 of brass, H2425 [H8804] he lived.
