Acts 27:26-29

  27:26   1519 εις [²onto 3520 νήσον ⁴island 1161 δε ¹But 5100 τινα ³a certain] 1163-1473 δει ημάς we must 1601 εκπεσείν fall.   27:27   5613-1161 ως δε And when 5065 τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτη the fourteenth 3571 νυξ night 1096 εγένετο came to pass, 1308-1473 διαφερομένων ημών we being carried about 1722 εν in 3588 τω the * Αδρία Adriatic, 2596 κατά towards 3319 μέσον the middle 3588 της of the 3571 νυκτός night 5282 υπενόουν [³suspected 3588 οι ¹the 3492 ναύται ²seamen 4317 προσάγειν ⁶neared 5100 τινά ⁴some 1473 αυτοίς ⁷them 5561 χώραν ⁵region].   27:28   2532 και And 1001 βολίσαντες having sounded, 2147 εύρον they found it 3712 οργυιάς [²fathoms 1501 είκοσι ¹twenty]; 1024-1161 βραχύ δε and a short time 1339 διαστήσαντες having elapsed, 2532 και and 3825 πάλιν again 1001 βολίσαντες having sounded, 2147 εύρον they found it 3712 οργυιάς [²fathoms 1178 δεκαπέντε ¹fifteen].   27:29   5399-5037 φοβούμενοί τε And fearing 3381 μήπως perhaps 1519 εις [²into 5138 τραχείς ³rough 5117 τόπους ⁴places 1601 εκπέσωμεν ¹they should fall], 1537 εκ [⁴from out of 4403 πρύμνης ⁵the stern 4495 ρίψαντες ¹they tossed 45 αγκύρας ³anchors 5064 τέσσαρας ²four], 2172 ηύχοντο vowing 2250 ημέραν day 1096 γενέσθαι to come.
