Matthew(i)
17 I beseche you brethren, marke them which cause diuisyon, and geue occasyons of euyl, contrary to the doctryue which ye haue learned: and auoyd them.

17 Now I beseech you brethren, marke them diligently which cause diuision and offences, contrary to the doctrine which ye haue learned, and auoide them.

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark them who make dissensions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not Christ our Lord but their own belly: and by pleasing speeches and good words seduce the hearts of the innocent.

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Whiston(i)
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark diligently them who cause divisions and scandals, saying or doing things contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such, serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words, deceive the hearts of the simple.
Worsley(i)
17 Now I exhort you, brethren, to mark those who cause divisions and offences, contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned:
18 and avoid them; for such people serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by a soothing address and good words deceive the hearts of the innocent.
Haweis(i)
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, keep a sharp eye over those who cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine ye have learned, and turn away from them.
18 For such are not servants to our Lord Jesus Christ, but to their own belly; and by smooth speeches and flattering commendations deceive the hearts of the guileless.
Thomson(i)
17 Now I exhort you, brethren, to mark them who make the divisions and the stumbling blocks contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them.
18 For such men do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly. And by their fawning speeches and flattering forms of address, they deceive the hearts of the innocent.
Webster(i)
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

17 Now, I beseech you, brethren, mark them who make separations and occasions of falling, contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they who are such, do not serve out Lord Jesus, but their own belly; and by flattery and fair speeches, deceive the hearts of the simple.
Etheridge(i)
17 But I beseech of you, my brethren, beware of them who make divisions and scandals apart from the doctrine which you have learned; and be distant from them.
18 For they who are thus serve not our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, but their bellies; and with sweet words and benedictions seduce the hearts of the simple.
Murdock(i)
17 And I beseech you, my Brethren, that ye beware of them who cause divisions and stumblings among you, aside from the doctrine which ye have learned: and that ye stand aloof from them.
18 For they who are such, do not serve our Lord Jesus Messiah, but their own belly: and by bland speeches and good wishes, they beguile the hearts of the simple.
Diaglott(i)
17 I entreat now you, brethren, to watch those the separations and the stumbling-blocks, contrary to the teaching which you learned, are making; and turn away from them.
18 They for such like ones to the Lord of us Anointed not are in subjection, but to the of themselves belly; and through the fair speaking and good speaking they deceive the hearts of the simple ones.
Anderson(i)
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark those who make divisions and cause offenses in opposition to the teaching which you have learned, and avoid them.
18 For such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own appetites; and, by good words and fair speeches, they deceive the hearts of the simple.

17 But I exhort your brethren, to mark those who are causing divisions and offences, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned; and avoid them.

17 But I beseech you, brethren, to keep an eye upon them who are causing divisions and occasions of stumbling, aside from the teaching which, ye, have learned,––and be turning away from them;
