Nehemiah 8:2-9 And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women , and all that could hear with understanding , upon the first day of the seventh month.

9 H5166 And Nehemiah H8660 , who is the Tirshatha H5830 , and Ezra H3548 the priest H5608 [H8802] the scribe H3881 , and the Levites H995 [H8688] that taught H5971 the people H559 [H8799] , said H5971 to all the people H3117 , This day H6918 is holy H3068 to the LORD H430 your God H56 [H8691] ; mourn H1058 [H8799] not, nor weep H5971 .
