Exodus 16:2-9

  2 H5712 The whole congregation H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H3885 murmured H4872 against Moses H175 and against Aaron H4057 in the wilderness;

  3 H1121 and the children H3478 of Israel H559 said H4310 to them, "We wish H4191 that we had died H3027 by the hand H3068 of Yahweh H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt, H3427 when we sat H1320 by the meat H5518 pots, H398 when we ate H7648 our fill H3899 of bread, H3318 for you have brought us out H4057 into this wilderness, H4191 to kill H6951 this whole assembly H7458 with hunger."

  4 H3068 Then Yahweh H559 said H4872 to Moses, H4305 "Behold, I will rain H3899 bread H8064 from the sky H5971 for you, and the people H3318 shall go out H3950 and gather H1697 a day's portion H3117 every day, H5254 that I may test H3212 them, whether they will walk H8451 in my law, or not.

  5 H8345 It shall come to pass on the sixth H3117 day, H3559 that they shall prepare H834 that which H935 they bring in, H4932 and it shall be twice H3950 as much as they gather H3117 daily."

  6 H4872 Moses H175 and Aaron H559 said H1121 to all the children H3478 of Israel, H6153 "At evening, H3045 then you shall know H3068 that Yahweh H3318 has brought you out H776 from the land H4714 of Egypt;

  7 H1242 and in the morning, H7200 then you shall see H3519 the glory H3068 of Yahweh; H8085 because he hears H8519 your murmurings H3068 against Yahweh. H5168 Who are we, H3885 that you murmur against us?"

  8 H4872 Moses H559 said, H3068 "Now Yahweh H5414 shall give H1320 you meat H398 to eat H6153 in the evening, H1242 and in the morning H3899 bread H7646 to satisfy H3068 you; because Yahweh H8085 hears H8519 your murmurings H3885 which you murmur H5168 against him. And who are we? H8519 Your murmurings H3068 are not against us, but against Yahweh."

  9 H4872 Moses H559 said H175 to Aaron, H559 "Tell H5712 all the congregation H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel, H7126 ‘Come near H6440 before H3068 Yahweh, H8085 for he has heard H8519 your murmurings.'"
