Deuteronomy 4:25-31 When you shall father children, and children's children, and you shall have been long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make an engraved image in the form of anything, and shall do that which is evil in the sight of Yahweh your God, to provoke him to anger;

26 H5749 I call H8064 heaven H776 and earth H5749 to witness H3117 against you this day, H4118 that you shall soon H6 utterly H6 perish H776 from off the land H5674 whereunto you go over H3383 the Jordan H3423 to possess H748 it; you shall not prolong H3117 your days H8045 on it, but shall utterly H8045 be destroyed.

27 H3068 Yahweh H6327 will scatter H5971 you among the peoples, H7604 and you shall be left H4962 few H4557 in number H1471 among the nations, H3068 where Yahweh H5090 shall lead you away.

28 H5647 There you shall serve H430 gods, H4639 the work H120 of men's H3027 hands, H6086 wood H68 and stone, H7200 which neither see, H8085 nor hear, H398 nor eat, H7306 nor smell.

29 H1245 But from there you shall seek H3068 Yahweh H430 your God, H4672 and you shall find H1875 him, when you search H3824 after him with all your heart H5315 and with all your soul.

30 H6862 When you are in oppression, H1697 and all these things H4672 have come H319 on you, in the latter H3117 days H7725 you shall return H3068 to Yahweh H430 your God, H8085 and listen H6963 to his voice:

31 H3068 for Yahweh H430 your God H7349 is a merciful H430 God; H7503 he will not fail H7843 you, neither destroy H7911 you, nor forget H1285 the covenant H1 of your fathers H7650 which he swore to them.
