2 Chronicles 1:7-12 In that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, "Ask what I shall give you."

8 H8010 Solomon H559 said H430 to God, H6213 "You have shown H1419 great H2617 loving kindness H1732 to David H1 my father, H4427 and have made me king in his place.

9 H3068 Now, Yahweh H430 God, H1697 let your promise H1732 to David H1 my father H539 be established; H4427 for you have made me king H5971 over a people H6083 like the dust H776 of the earth H7227 in multitude.

10 H5414 Now give H2451 me wisdom H4093 and knowledge, H3318 that I may go out H935 and come in H6440 before H5971 this people; H8199 for who can judge H5971 this your people, H1419 that is so great?"

11 H430 God H559 said H8010 to Solomon, H3824 "Because this was in your heart, H7592 and you have not asked H6239 riches, H6239 wealth, H3519 or honor, H5315 nor the life H8130 of those who hate H7592 you, neither yet have asked H7227 long H3117 life; H7592 but have asked H2451 wisdom H4093 and knowledge H8199 for yourself, that you may judge H5971 my people, H4427 over whom I have made you king:

12 H2451 wisdom H4093 and knowledge H5414 is granted H5414 to you. I will give H6239 you riches, H6239 wealth, H3519 and honor, H4428 such as none of the kings H6440 have had who have been before H310 you; neither shall there any after you have the like."
