VIN(i)
O give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name. Make known among the peoples his practices.
Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; talk of all His wonderful works.
Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
Seek ye the LORD and his strength: seek his face always.
Remember His wonders that He has done, His miracles, and the judgments of His mouth,
O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
He remembered his covenant forever, the word he commanded to a thousand generations.
Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac;
He presented it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant.
saying, To you I will give the land of Canaan, the portion of your inheritance;
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
"Do not touch my anointed ones. Do my prophets no harm."
He called for a famine on the land, He destroyed the piles of food.
He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave.
They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,
until his word came to pass; till the oracle of the Lord tried him.
The king sent and released him, even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.
He made him master of his house, and ruler of all his possession.
To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
Then Israel came to Egypt. Jacob lived as a foreigner in the land of Ham.
And he made his people very fruitful. He also made them stronger than their enemies.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.
He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
They performed his signs among them, his wonders in the land of Ham.
He sent darkness, and made it dark. And they rebelled against his words.
He turned their waters into blood, and caused their fish to die.
Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.
He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats in all their country.
He turned their rain into hail, into flaming fire in their land.
And he struck their vines and fig trees, and shattered the trees of their territory.
He spoke, and the locusts came, and the grasshoppers, without number,
They consumed every green plant in their land, and devoured the fruit of their soil.
He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.
He brought Israel out with silver and gold, and no one among his tribes stumbled.
Egypt was glad when they departed, because the fear of them had fallen upon them.
He spread out a cloud as a covering, And fire, to give light by night,
They asked, and he brought quail, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
He opened a rock, and water gushed out flowing like a river in the desert.
For He remembered His holy word and His servant Abraham;
He brought his people out with joy, his chosen ones with a song of joy.
He gave them the lands of other nations. They inherited what others had worked for.
that they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise the LORD.
