Numbers 30:2-5 When a man vows a vow to the LORD, or has sworn an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do all that has gone out of his mouth.

VIN⁽ⁱ⁾ ² When a man vows a vow to the LORD, or has sworn an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do all that has gone out of his mouth. ³ And in case a woman vows a vow to the LORD and binds herself by a bond in the house of her father in her youth, ⁴ but if her father hears her vow or her pledge that she bound on herself and says nothing to her, then all her vows will stand, and every pledge that she binds on her life will stand. ⁵ But if her father forbids her in the day that he hears, none of her vows or of her pledges with which she has bound her soul, shall stand. the LORD will forgive her, because her father has forbidden her.
