Numbers 30:2-5 When a man vows a vow to Yah Veh, or oaths an oath to bind a bond on his soul, he profanes not his word; he works according to all proceeding from his mouth.

ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ² When a man vows a vow to Yah Veh, or oaths an oath to bind a bond on his soul, he profanes not his word; he works according to all proceeding from his mouth. ³ And when a woman vows a vow to Yah Veh, and in her youth binds a bond in the house of her father; ⁴ and her father hears the vow and the bond she binds on her soul, and her father hushes; then all her vows become raised: and every bond she binds on her soul becomes raised. ⁵ And if, in the day he hears, her father disallows her; none of her vows or of the bonds she binds on her soul become raised: and Yah Veh forgives her, because her father disallowed her.
