Amos 2:4-8 Thus saith the LORD ; For three transgressions of Judah , and for four , I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD , and have not kept his commandments , and their lies caused them to err , after the which their fathers have walked :

5 H7971 But I will send [H8765] H784 a fire H3063 upon Judah H398 , and it shall devour [H8804] H759 the palaces H3389 of Jerusalem.

6 H559 Thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H7969 ; For three H6588 transgressions H3478 of Israel H702 , and for four H7725 , I will not turn away [H8686] H4376 the punishment thereof; because they sold [H8800] H6662 the righteous H3701 for silver H34 , and the poor H5275 for a pair of shoes;

7 H7602 That pant [H8802] H6083 after the dust H776 of the earth H7218 on the head H1800 of the poor H5186 , and turn aside [H8686] H1870 the way H6035 of the meek H376 : and a man H1 and his father H3212 will go [H8799] H5291 in unto the same maid H2490 , to profane [H8763] H6944 my holy H8034 name:

8 H5186 And they lay themselves down [H8686] H899 upon clothes H2254 laid to pledge [H8803] H681 by H4196 every altar H8354 , and they drink [H8799] H3196 the wine H6064 of the condemned [H8803] H1004 in the house H430 of their god.

5 H7971 ושׁלחתי But I will send H784 אשׁ a fire H3063 ביהודה upon Judah, H398 ואכלה and it shall devour H759 ארמנות the palaces H3389 ירושׁלם׃ of Jerusalem.

7 H7602 השׁאפים That pant H5921 על after H6083 עפר the dust H776 ארץ of the earth H7218 בראשׁ on the head H1800 דלים of the poor, H1870 ודרך the way H6035 ענוים of the meek: H5186 יטו and turn aside H376 ואישׁ and a man H1 ואביו and his father H1980 ילכו will go in H413 אל unto H5291 הנערה the maid, H4616 למען to H2490 חלל profane H853 את H8034 שׁם name: H6944 קדשׁי׃ my holy

8 H5921 ועל upon H899 בגדים clothes H2254 חבלים laid to pledge H5186 יטו And they lay down H681 אצל by H3605 כל every H4196 מזבח altar, H3196 ויין the wine H6064 ענושׁים of the condemned H8354 ישׁתו and they drink H1004 בית the house H430 אלהיהם׃ of their god.
