Proverbs 19

ECB(i) 1 Better, the impoverished walking in integrity, than the perverted in lips who is a fool. 2 Also, without knowledge, the soul is not good; and he who hastens with his feet, sins. 3 The folly of humanity perverts his way; whose heart rages against Yah Veh. 4 Wealth adds many friends; and the poor is separated from his friend. 5 Neither is a false witness exonerated nor escapes he who breathes lies. 6 Many stroke the face of the volunteer; and all are a friend of a man of gifts. 7 All the brothers hate the impoverished; how much more, his companions far from him. he pursues them with sayings; yet they are not. 8 He who chattelizes heart loves his own soul; he who guards discernment finds good. 9 A false witness is not exonerated and he who breathes lies destructs. 10 Delight befits not a fool; much less a servant to reign over governors. 11 The comprehension of a human prolongs his wrath; and his beauty is to pass over a rebellion. 12 The rage of the sovereign is as the growling of a whelp; and his pleasure is as dew on the herbage. 13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father; and the contentions of a woman are a continual dripping. 14 House and wealth are the inheritance of fathers; and a comprehending woman is from Yah Veh. 15 Sloth falls into a deep sleep; and a deceitful soul famishs. 16 Whoever guards the misvah, guards his own soul; and whoever despises his ways, dies. 17 Whoever grants charism to the poor lends to Yah Veh; and shalams what he deals. 18 Discipline your son while there is hope and lift not your soul for his death. 19 One of harsh wrath must bear the penalty; for if you rescue him, you must do it again. 20 Hear counsel and take discipline, that you finally enwisen. 21 Many are the fabrications in the heart of man; nevertheless the counsel of Yah Veh rises. 22 The desire of a human is his mercy; better, impoverishment than a man of lies. 23 To awe Yah Veh is unto life; he stays satisfied; he is not visited with evil. 24 The sloth hides his hand in his bosom and returns it not to his mouth. 25 Smite a scorner, and the gullible strategize; reprove the discerner, and he discerns knowledge. 26 Whoever ravages his father and has his mother to flee, is a son that shames and blushes. 27 Cease, my son, to hear the discipline to err inadvertently from the sayings of knowledge. 28 A witness of Beli Yaal scorns judgment; and the mouth of the wicked swallows mischief. 29 Judgments are prepared for scorners; and poundings for the back of fools.
