7 H6372 And when Phinehas, H1121 the son H499 of Eleazar, H1121 the son H175 of Aaron H3548 the priest, H7200 saw H6965 it, he rose up H8432 from among H5712 the congregation, H3947 and took H7420 a javelin H3027 in his hand;

8 H935 And he went H310 after H376 the man H3478 of Israel H6898 into the tent, H1856 and thrust H8147 both H376 of them through, the man H3478 of Israel, H802 and the woman H413 through H6897 her belly. H4046 So the plague H6113 was stayed H1121 from the sons H3478 of Israel.

9 H4191 And those that died H4046 in the plague H6242 were twenty H702 and four H505 thousand.

10 H3068 And the Lord H1696 spoke H4872 unto Moses, H559 saying,

12 H559 Therefore say, H5414 Behold, I give H1285 unto him my covenant H7965 of peace:

13 H2233 And he shall have it, and his seed H310 after H1285 him, even the covenant H5769 of an everlasting H3550 priesthood; H834 because H7065 he was zealous H430 for his God, H3722 and made an atonement H1121 for the sons H3478 of Israel.
