Joshua 14:1-5 And these are the inheritances which the children of Israel took in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers' houses of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed unto them,

2 H1486 by the lot H5159 of their inheritance, H3068 as Jehovah H6680 commanded H3027 by H4872 Moses, H8672 for the nine H4294 tribes, H2677 and for the H4294 half-tribe.

3 H4872 For Moses H5414 had given H5159 the inheritance H8147 of the two H4294 tribes H2677 and the H4294 half-tribe H5676 beyond H3383 the Jordan: H3881 but unto the Levites H5414 he gave H5159 no inheritance H8432 among them.

4 H1121 For the children H3130 of Joseph H8147 were two H4294 tribes, H4519 Manasseh H669 and Ephraim: H5414 and they gave H2506 no portion H3881 unto the Levites H776 in the land, H5892 save cities H3427 to dwell H4054 in, with the suburbs H4735 thereof for their cattle H7075 and for their substance.

5 H3068 As Jehovah H6680 commanded H4872 Moses, H1121 so the children H3478 of Israel H6213 did; H2505 and they divided H776 the land.
