Mark 6:19-27

  20 G3588   G1063 For G* Herod G5399 feared G3588   G* John, G1492 knowing G1473 him G435 [⁴man G1342 ¹ as a righteous G2532 ²and G39 ³holy], G2532 and G4933 he preserved G1473 him. G2532 And G191 having heard G1473 of him, G4183 [²many things G4160 ¹he did], G2532 and G2234 with pleasure G1473 heard him. G191  

  21 G2532 And G1096 [³having become G2250 ²day G2121 ¹an opportune], G3753 when G* Herod G3588   G1077 [³for his birthday G1473   G1173 ²a supper G4160 ¹made] G3588 to G3175 his great men, G1473   G2532 and G3588 to the G5506 commanders of thousands, G2532 and G3588 to the G4413 first ones G3588   G* of Galilee;

  22 G2532 and G1525 [²having entered G3588   G2364 ¹her daughter], G1473   G3588 the one G* of Herodias, G2532 and G3738 dancing, G2532 and G700 pleasing G3588   G* Herod, G2532 and G3588 the ones G4873 reclining together with him, G2036 [³said G3588 ¹the G935 ²king] G3588 to the G2877 young woman, G154 Ask G1473 me G3739 what G1437 ever G2309 you should want, G2532 and G1325 I will give it G1473 to you!

  23 G2532 And G3660 he swore by an oath G1473 to her G3754 that, G3739 What G1437 ever G1473 [²me G154 ¹you should ask], G1325 I will give G1473 to you, G2193 unto G2255 half G3588   G932 of my kingdom. G1473  

  24 G3588 And she G1161   G1831 having gone forth G2036 said G3588   G3384 to her mother, G1473   G5100 What G154 shall I ask? G3588 And she G1161   G2036 said, G3588 The G2776 head G* of John G3588 the G910 baptist.

  25 G2532 And G1525 having entered G2112 immediately G3326 with G4710 haste G4314 to G3588 the G935 king, G154 she asked G3004 saying, G2309 I want G2443 that G1473 you give to me G1325   G1824 immediately G1909 upon G4094 a platter G3588 the G2776 head G* of John G3588 the G910 baptist.

  26 G2532 And G4036 [⁴dejected G1096 ³being G3588 ¹the G935 ²king] G1223 because G3588 of the G3727 oaths, G2532 and G3588 of the ones G4873 reclining together with him, G3756 did not G2309 want G1473 to disregard her. G114  

  27 G2532 And G2112 [³immediately G649 ⁴having sent G3588 ¹the G935 ²king] G4688 a guard, G2004 gave orders G5342 [²to be brought G3588   G2776 ¹for his head]. G1473   G3588 And G1161   G565 having gone forth G607 he beheaded G1473 him G1722 in G3588 the G5438 prison.
