2 Samuel 5:6-10 And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites , the inhabitants of the land : which spake unto David , saying , Except thou take away the blind and the lame , thou shalt not come in hither: thinking , David cannot come in hither.

8 H1732 And David H559 said [H8799] H3117 on that day H5060 , Whosoever getteth up [H8799] H6794 to the gutter H5221 , and smiteth [H8688] H2983 the Jebusites H6455 , and the lame H5787 and the blind H8130 , that are hated [H8803] H1732 of David's H5315 soul H559 , he shall be chief and captain . Wherefore they said [H8799] H5787 , The blind H6455 and the lame H935 shall not come [H8799] H1004 into the house.

10 H1732 And David H3212 went [H8799] H1980 on [H8800] H1419 , and grew great H3068 , and the LORD H430 God H6635 of hosts was with him.
