1 Samuel 8:5-9

  5 H559 And said [H8799]   H2204 unto him, Behold, thou art old [H8804]   H1121 , and thy sons H1980 walk [H8804]   H1870 not in thy ways H7760 : now make [H8798]   H4428 us a king H8199 to judge [H8800]   H1471 us like all the nations.

  6 H1697 But the thing H3415 displeased [H8799]   H5869   H8050 Samuel H559 , when they said [H8804]   H5414 , Give [H8798]   H4428 us a king H8199 to judge [H8800]   H8050 us. And Samuel H6419 prayed [H8691]   H3068 unto the LORD.

  7 H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799]   H8050 unto Samuel H8085 , Hearken [H8798]   H6963 unto the voice H5971 of the people H559 in all that they say [H8799]   H3988 unto thee: for they have not rejected [H8804]   H3988 thee, but they have rejected [H8804]   H4427 me, that I should not reign [H8800]   over them.
