Genesis 22:11-17 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven , and said , Abraham , Abraham : and he said , Here am I.

13 H85 And Abraham H5375 lifted up [H8799] H5869 his eyes H7200 , and looked [H8799] H310 , and behold behind H352 him a ram H270 caught [H8737] H5442 in a thicket H7161 by his horns H85 : and Abraham H3212 went [H8799] H3947 and took [H8799] H352 the ram H5927 , and offered him up [H8686] H5930 for a burnt offering H8478 in the stead H1121 of his son.

14 H85 And Abraham H7121 called [H8799] H8034 the name H4725 of that place H3070 Jehovahjireh H834 : as H559 it is said [H8735] H3117 to this day H2022 , In the mount H3068 of the LORD H7200 it shall be seen [H8735] .

15 H4397 And the angel H3068 of the LORD H7121 called [H8799] H85 unto Abraham H8064 out of heaven H8145 the second time,

16 H559 And said [H8799] H7650 , By myself have I sworn [H8738] H5002 , saith [H8803] H3068 the LORD H3282 , for because H834 H6213 thou hast done [H8804] H1697 this thing H3808 , and hast not H2820 withheld [H8804] H1121 thy son H3173 , thine only son :

17 H1288 That in blessing [H8763] H1288 I will bless [H8762] H7235 thee, and in multiplying [H8687] H7235 I will multiply [H8686] H2233 thy seed H3556 as the stars H8064 of the heaven H2344 , and as the sand H3220 which is upon the sea H8193 shore H2233 ; and thy seed H3423 shall possess [H8799] H8179 the gate H341 of his enemies [H8802] ;

ERV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹¹ And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. ¹² And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from me. ¹³ And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold, behind [him] a ram caught in the thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. ¹⁴ And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be provided. ¹⁵ And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham a second time out of heaven, ¹⁶ and said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: ¹⁷ that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
