12 H559 ויאמר And he said, H408 אל not H7971 תשׁלח Lay H3027 ידך thine hand H413 אל upon H5288 הנער the lad, H408 ואל neither H6213 תעשׂ do H3972 לו מאומה thou any thing H3588 כי unto him: for H6258 עתה now H3045 ידעתי I know H3588 כי that H3373 ירא fearest H430 אלהים God, H859 אתה thou H3808 ולא seeing thou hast not H2820 חשׂכת withheld H853 את H1121 בנך thy son, H853 את H3173 יחידך thine only H4480 ממני׃ from

13 H5375 וישׂא lifted up H85 אברהם And Abraham H853 את H5869 עיניו his eyes, H7200 וירא and looked, H2009 והנה and behold H352 איל a ram H310 אחר behind H270 נאחז caught H5442 בסבך in a thicket H7161 בקרניו by his horns: H1980 וילך went H85 אברהם and Abraham H3947 ויקח and took H853 את H352 האיל the ram, H5927 ויעלהו and offered him up H5930 לעלה for a burnt offering H8478 תחת in the stead of H1121 בנו׃ his son.

14 H7121 ויקרא called H85 אברהם And Abraham H8034 שׁם the name H4725 המקום place H1931 ההוא of that H3068 יהוה of the LORD H7200 יראה it shall be seen. H834 אשׁר as H559 יאמר it is said H3117 היום this day, H2022 בהר In the mount H3068 יהוה H7200 יראה׃

15 H7121 ויקרא called H4397 מלאך And the angel H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אל unto H85 אברהם Abraham H8145 שׁנית the second time, H4480 מן out of H8064 השׁמים׃ heaven

16 H559 ויאמר And said, H7650 בי נשׁבעתי By myself have I sworn, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3588 כי for H3282 יען because H834 אשׁר because H6213 עשׂית thou hast done H853 את H1697 הדבר thing, H2088 הזה this H3808 ולא and hast not H2820 חשׂכת withheld H853 את H1121 בנך thy son, H853 את H3173 יחידך׃ thine only

17 H3588 כי That H1288 ברך in blessing H1288 אברכך I will bless H7235 והרבה thee, and in multiplying H7235 ארבה I will multiply H853 את H2233 זרעך thy seed H3556 ככוכבי as the stars H8064 השׁמים of the heaven, H2344 וכחול and as the sand H834 אשׁר which H5921 על upon H8193 שׂפת shore; H3220 הים the sea H3423 וירשׁ shall possess H2233 זרעך and thy seed H853 את H8179 שׁער the gate H341 איביו׃ of his enemies;
